Same for me. Band has done nothing to the watch body.

Noticed a few micro marks on the magnetic end, but you can't see it unless i turn my wrist in the light and show you. Likley why they brushed it...harder to see scratches.

It just looks better IMO as well. Mine has some significant ones, not sure what I did to it lol.

Hmmmm. From looking at the images they seem like they could not be from anything else. Only will happen with the watch off the wrist and band folded up over the case.

That would make sense then. As long as it's not just from wearing and using the watch then that would be on the owner and not the design.

Yep the only way the band could come in contact with the case where these scratches are showing up is when the user removes the watch.

I would remind the users to take care and not let the band fold over towards the watch face. Thsi should not be a big deal

Have you lived with and put on/taken off the Milanese Apple Watch? It may sound easy, but it's a bit of a balancing act. I don't disagree it's on the owner to take care in how they put it on, but this thing is not that easy to put on. i think I have it figured out how to do it without the micro scratches now, so once I remove the marks it shouldn't be a problem.

Think it's made from the same material as this. Think it'll go well with it.

Wow, I'm usually pretty anal over my Apple products, but with the Watch, it's meant to be worn, it'll get scratched. Seriously people.

I'll say again I'm not stressing or really bothered by it. Just seeing if others had noticed the same. I don't even notice it when I look at my watch. I love the watch. I don't notice the dings, dents and scratches in my sterling silver wedding band either. That's what happens to jewelry.

I don't have any scratches on the case of the body, but when I received my watch on Friday, I noticed there were some scratches already in the magnet clasp of the band. I contacted Apple and they've arranged a replacement... I'm just hoping I don't have to wait until June to get a replacement band, on the phone they said it should be sent before then, but I'm not sure if that was a guess or not, she certainly didn't give a date! They're collecting the band on Wednesday.

Anyone else seeing this? Not the end of the world but a bit frustrating considering I'll be talking it off and on daily. I know it can be polished out and I can be more careful in how I put the watch on and take it off. Just wondering if others are seeing this.

Stainless steel watches scratch. From bottom barrel to expensive. My current stainless steel watch is scratched to all hell.

The beauty about stainless steel is that it is like a car. Go get the light scratches buffed out (this would be light scratches) and it'll look brand new again.

And another beauty of SS is you can leave it alone until all the light scratches come together to form what's called a patina and it'll look cohesive, like a platinum ring that's many years old.

No scratches here... I'm not quite sure how you got them up there but the loop for me has not scratched anything!

Was thinking got getting the milanese loop for my aluminum sport since I'd like something fancier during the day and it was so comfortable at the try on. Not sure if it would do that to the aluminum...and they aluminum wouldn't look as good as the SS with scratches...

Some people are of the opinion that the Milanese loop doesn't look good anyway with the Sport case due to the mismatching finishes on the connectors and case.

Had mine on for 3 full days and it is in the same condition as when I took it out of the box..... you only have to be careful taking it on and off and which way you position it when charging.... when its on your wrist there should be no risk of scratches...
