I thought we weren’t getting anymore Apple leaks from Ming-Chi. Glad to see he’s still doing it.
Please let the 6.1" device have brilliant anodized colors like the 5th Gen iPod Nano and not a polycarbonate case like the iPhone 5c.
He is at TF International now. Apple negotiated a better deal on providing him with information than KGI wanted. Remember, it's both ways with Ming.![]()
Mainland China firms typically pay far more than KGI in Taiwan.
It's a natural shift as well given China's economic growth in all areas tech related.
More colour options = no interesting or standout new features.
Both the 5.8” and 6.5” will get the same number of color choices. Maybe 3 to begin with and possibly a Product Red at some point. I think offering a nice blue similar to Samsung would’ve been a good move for the Apple flagship phone, but I doubt it will happen. If it does happen with the 2019 model (again I doubt it will happen), that’s the one I’m getting if I decide to upgrade next year.Looks like the 5.8” oled gets the least amount of color choices of 3. 6.1” gets 5 colors and 6.5” get 6 colors.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the blue, orange and red color options are for the lcd version only.
The iPhone flagship usually has both more memory and an additional camera on it too!The 6.1” iPhone which is mentioned to have the different colors isn’t the flagship phone.
Rumor has it that Ming is Tim Cook’s boss!I thought we weren’t getting anymore Apple leaks from Ming-Chi. Glad to see he’s still doing it.
