Mini - Are you getting the Smart Cover?

Iam not going to bother buying a smart cover i'am not keen on them either i'am going to be buying a invisible shield front & back for my iPad mini and just a nice thin keyboard case that i could use for when i am on the move.

I love the Smart Cover for my full sized iPad, because I often prop to up to type.

Mini will be handheld though, typing will be more like an iPhone--thumb driven. This makes the Smart Cover just added clutter for me. Others mileage may vary.

I'm attracted to the mini for its weight and size. Adding anything to that weight is not really something I'm into.

I always get one for carrying the iPad out of the house, but I rarely use it while in the house. Still, I ordered one for the Mini.
