Perfect!? Off axis colour shift with the smallest of tilt, overly warm yellow/orange colour, horrible PWM. LCD has been perfected over the last 10 years but we have to deal with batch after batch of inconsistent OLED displays because that's what manafactuers want to push.

OLED tvs are great but I 100% prefer LCD in handheld tech.

PWM is why I won’t use an iPhone with OLED.

The lack of PWM is partially why I bought an iPhone SE (2020).

Will MiniLED have PWM like OLED? I had to trade my beloved XS for an 11 to fix PWM migraines

I’m not sure. It may depend on the backlight technology used. IIRC, PWM is used to dim the screen on lower quality / cheaper backlights. Higher quality / more expensive backlights avert the need for PWM.

Apple’s PWM is extremely high in order to present the screen without the appearance of flicker, but those of us who are sensitive to that still suffer. I’m uncertain whether there are any OLED phones that don’t use PWM for dimming.

I don’t expect higher RAM configs to be on the package. A 1.5 TiB package would be rather unwieldy.
