Oh freakin good grief! And $140 to boot. Hey, wait a minute, maybe Steve Ballmer would like one of these. Remember when he panned the iPhone in 2007 because it didn’t have a keyboard and so wouldn’t be good business phone. Yeah, send Ballmer one of these for testing, that’s the ticket.

Genuinely, I am very excited by this. I can't buy one until I upgrade from an 11 PRO MAX but when I do, I will give this a shot.

It is smart and nostalgic in my opinion. And it will appeal to people who want both or one or the other.

I think I will smirk in a few years when I look back at some the haters here. Perhaps not. But I doubt it.

Yeah, perhaps not.

Maybe one that had the keyboard flip down. Could double as a partial cover over the screen

I can’t seem to wrap my head around the negativity here. If you don’t want it, you don’t have to buy it.

I work for a large company named after a certain red fruit. Therefore, I am loyal to the iPhone and I understand its value. However, I really miss my blackberries and the ability to type without looking at the screen. I have focus issues and need to be on the move while working, and a physical keyboard really is the best option.

Just because you enjoy the current form factor doesn’t mean it’s the best for everyone else. Accessories like this are a godsend to those who want them. Additionally, the iPhone is flexible and integrates best in market accessibility features that will work well with the keyboard for those with disabilities.

I just purchased mine and it wasn’t due to nostalgia. It's the fact that physical keyboards work better for me. Thankfully something finally came to market that meets my needs.

Be kind to each other, please :)

Half-assed design - BlackBerry wasn’t just known for the keyboard. iPhones support mice, so where’s the trackball?

I tried a physical keyboard case on one of the earlier iPhones. Didn’t work out. Even with my relatively large hands the set up was off balance due to the majority of the iPhone continually trying to pull the keyboard out of my hands.

If any of you are familiar with the FITALY key board that was originally developed for the Palm Pilots and the Pocket PCs that is what I really want for my iPhone.

hey remember when you had to connect your computer to a phone line to dial-up the internet? You've Got Mail...yeah we dont need to go back there at all.

I dont have a design bone in my body, so I applaud the effort. I'm going to have to go with Shorsey on this one though

It's fun but it looks like it makes the fun sooo big. Maybe there's a better way to do it, like have it fold over the screen. That way it could also be a screen protector when not in use
