Just alittle payback for game two:D:D:D Great game too... Good to see my alltime favorite boyhood pitcher Sandy the K:)

Peace

Jeez. The Angels barely scratch out a win and their fans think the series is over? Hahaha.

exactly. the yanks first loss is a come from behind walkoff in extra innings and all of a sudden girardi should be fired. Its gonna be a blue november sorry to break it to ya robo... :p

Someone put a gun to my head. Tim McCarver, shut the hell up. Angels are toast if they don't win this game.

I'll agree with you about the McCarver thing (don't forget buck).

Buck and McCarver need to DIAF, badly.

they are awful. i listened to sterling instead (thankfully, there's a local radio station here in florida that airs yankee games due to yankee transplants). for some reason, nobody around me agrees with me (because they don't want to listen to yankees).

I've moved on to the Dodgers/Phillies game.

It's broadcast amateur hour on TBS.

I hate Bud Selig for signing that contract. Douche.

I don't think I could've explained it any better my friend.

I should mute the TV and listen to Vin Scully

chip caray is awful. he gets alot wrong and he yells so much and never stops talking.

Yankees up 3-0 on three solo shots by Jeter, A-Rod and Damon

Joe Buck is terrible. He would never be a broadcaster if it wasn't for his father, talk about nepotism. Jack was truly one of the greatest who ever lived. Joe is just shaming the family name every time a mic is put in front of him.

I think what really ended any respect I had for him was when the Cardinals won the World Series in 2006 and he was the announcer on Fox. Now, I understand being on the national broadcast, you have to be neutral, but his father and his career with the Cardinals got Joe to where he is today and how hometeam just won the World Series, but he sounded like he was asleep on the job when we got the final strikeout. Show a little excitement for f***s sake! I would've given anything to hear his dad calling that game.

And his restaurant in downtown St. Louis has overpriced, crappy food but that's another matter ;)

I don't really have a problem with Joe and Tim, at least they know the game of baseball unlike the TBS clowns.

Chip Carry should be downgraded to bowling coverage.

naw.....its a red november......not b/c of the phillies.....but b/c of the angels....:p;)

Mariano Spit Ball

If you also look closely, you can see part of Mo's cape coming out between his shirt and pants

Shame on that man!:D

It looked like a lens flair to me.:p It's that damn LA sun I tells ya.

From the looks of it.....the sun was a farther away.....he was in the shade.... and yesterday was cloudy........in anaheim.....trust me....i live here in socal...

I agree with you Nut. The guy that bugs me is the "Monte Hall " look alike Craig Sager. Dude, where does he get his suits.

Peace

eww. and i couldn't believe joe buck is only 40. btw, fox seems to have an affinity for legendary broadcaster's sons. think they have at least two more on their staff right now.

chip used to be better. he has gotten worse, esp. since he moved to atlanta. he yaps and yaps, and he's annoying. what a shame, i loved his father, skip.

Mariano Rivera did not spit on the ball Monday.

So says the commissioner's office, which inspected broadcast sequences and still photography of an episode in which the New York Yankees' closer was alleged to have spit on the baseball.

"We have found no evidence that Mariano Rivera spit on the ball," spokesman Pat Courtney said.

Rivera worked one scoreless inning in the Angels' 5-4 victory over the Yankees on Monday at Angel Stadium.

A video that was copied and posted widely around the Internet this morning shows Rivera preparing to face his first batter, Erick Aybar. The video appears to show Rivera, with his back to home plate, looking quickly in two directions, then looking down and quickly spitting.

The video was not conclusive. Spitting on the ball would violate baseball rules. The baseball operations department of the commissioner's office, after obtaining additional video and still photographs, concluded Rivera had not spit on the ball.

My LA v LA scenario doesn't look too good right now. It's technically possible, but teams coming up from being down 2-1 are not many, and teams coming up from 3-1 are almost non-existent.

But to expect both LA teams to get to the World Series at this point is the longest of odds. Time for me to look to next year for an LA series, so-cal series, or a SF Bay Area series.

my probability judging right now from how both series are

LAA vs LAD world series------------35%

LAA vs PHI world series------------45%

NYY vs LAD world series----------- 30%

PHI vs NYY world series------------50%

hahahah

does anybody agree with me?! (use your sense of knowledge of all the teams)

Historically, teams down 2-1 in a Championship Series have about a 1 in 4 chance of getting there, which is 25% percent.

Statistically, factor in a team down 3-1, and then you have odds that put an LA v. LA World Series at between 2% percent to 3% percent probability. Dodgers are dead in the water I hate to say. Angels are better off but two games away from elimination from a team that won over 100 games in the regular season.

A dual LA series is possible, but highly improbable.

The Dodgers only chance now is that Tonya Harding comes in with a golf club and hits some Phillies.

Kazmir is not pitching well at all.

OMG! The 3rd base ump wasn't even looking at Swisher. That call was worse then the previous call of Swisher getting picked off.

That they were, the 2nd one was to make up for the first.

That it was. Can't wait for his explanation. " He was out at 2nd so I was correcting a missed call by miss calling another play".

This must be the crew that is getting paid by the Red Sox.
