MLB 2025

Agreed, the Cubs are hanging tough... didn't expect the Brewers to have this much trouble with them.
The Brewers have been punching above their weight all season. They don't have one "certified" superstar, and did not have even one position player named to the All-Star team. One starting pitcher (Peralta) and one reliever (Megill, a former Cub) were originally selected, and when the Cubs' Matthew Boyd was ruled out because of where he came up in the rotation, the rookie Misiorowski was given the spot. As I mentioned before, the Cubs won the season series (7-6) with the Brewers, so they were pretty even. Kyle Tucker hit several balls to the outfield in the first four games of the NLDS, which is a vast improvement over grounding to first base when he didn't strike out after the break. It could be a very interesting Game 5.

I expect them to wilt in the preseason anyway.

Is Misiorowski going to pitch Friday?

MLB can't be too excited about the possiblility of only one big market team...

I do find it intriguing that the two 1976 expansion teams are in the ALCS.
