MLB TV on the Mac

Nice, thanks for those links.

Incidentally, the problem was solved when I downloaded the new firefox beta version. I went to watch a game, and it asked me if I wanted to download silverlight or use the old player. Of course, I went with the old player, the game opened up in Quicktime, and my problem was solved!

I haven't used Mosaic since last year, but can you pause games and then come back to them later? That's really the main reason I wanted to use the old player.

Question:

I'm on a realitively old mac (G4 bought in 04) and running on 10.3.9

I recently bought MLB TV and use Flip4Mac to watch it in full screen. I go to MLB.com, click on the game, it loads and shows up in Quicktime where I can make it as large as I would like. Here is where my problem is: every half inning, as it goes to the commercial break, Quicktime force quits. This is very annoying as I have to reload the game 18 times if I want to watch the whole thing. I've tried just watching the game in the embedded player on MLB.com using Firefox, but as it goes to the commercial break between innings, Firefox force quits.

Any solutions/suggestions?

Thanks.

MLB.TV fix

Gentlemen, I joined this forum after being up half the night, trying to find a cure for the common mlb malady on Macs. I, too, was having issues with it, and researched until I think I found a cure. Hope I can get the following link to work:
Anyhow, if that didn't work, just Google Adobe 10.1 Beta, find the downloads, and you should be set. I finally got to watch a bit of baseball without all the buffering pauses. Hopes this helps!
