MMS Coming In Early August

MMS will be released when 3.1 is released in EARLY September. I am running 3.1 beta 2 ( not hacked ) and beta 1 put the MMS icon back on my text message screen but didn't work. Once beta 2 hit with the 4.5 carrier file I was able to send and receive MMS over AT&T 3G and EDGE without any problems. And NO I didn't call AT&T and complain or change plans or stick my sim in another phone or change anything on my account via the web. Just relax for Four more weeks and you will get your blasted MMS and then the threads will start on how slow it is or pictures look fuzzy just another thing to complain about

He heard some guy high up in AT&T that came in the store who told him it would be in late December (but just in time for Christmas). I tend to believe him over the Target guy, seeing as he heard it from AT&T.

OK folks, the offical ATT spokesperson has just informed us of what's what. 🙄
 
IAM confused

Someone pleases answer the question, when i updated to 3.1 and checked my MMs for the camera at the botton right hand corner nothing was there, so the only thing i can figure is that it will be coming with the next update whenever that is.................... but did anyone else have the same problam no camera with 3.1 without any HACKS

Probably dumb sunday morning question

Why does the US iPhone need 3.1 to get MMS when 3.0 works for other countries 😕
 
Does anyone have the MMs Camera at the botton lefthand corner(NO HACKS) of there screen, sense i updated i have every feature expect this one NO CAMERA for sending yet, thats why i think its coming with the new update..................does anyone else have the same problem

In the UK we have the MMS camera icon and MMS works. It's an AT&T problem.
 
Mappy so u think i have to wait for att, my thing is how will the camera icon pop up there threw att i thought they just had to turn on the opt code or something like that, or was i suppose to get it with 3.1.....................and this is th US
 
All we can do is wait. AT&T is busy continuing to screw us out of simple features even though one could argue that the iPhone is basically the only reason AT&T is getting new customers and continuing to make money. Take away the iPhone and lets see where AT&T would be right now. You would think they would hurry up and release it instead of getting our money and just laughing in our faces while we wait.

Yeah its definitly AT&T holding back.

So I take it on the AT&T os 3.0 you don't have the little camera icon
like here in the SMS app:

Mms

I've had MMS since the first few days of 3.0 on my 2G (hacked and all the good stuff), but you'd think if you were AT&T and you knew a new software version was coming out for one of your bread and butter phones, that supported a feature long sought after by many users, that you would have that ready to go on the day of launch.
I think AT&T really dropped the ball here, I mean how hard is it really. Come on. 😡
