Do I have to go to DFU mode to update my carrier file or something? Im on a 3GS, 3.0 JB
I try to update my carrier file and itunes gives me an unknown error

MMS is working great, but I had to use the Cellular Data settings found here: http://help.benm.at/mms.php#usa

It wouldn't work until I plugged all those in. Good news though, MMS works, and so does VVM 🙂

tried it for the hell of it, MMS not working in Western PA the 90% fail thing happening as well.

VVM works fine however.

Say I install this hacked ipcc file and MMS works.

Then when Sept 25 comes around and the 'real' ipcc file is available... do I have to uninstall the hacked one and reinstall the authentic file... or... will the authentic file overwrite the hacked one?

If it doesnt just go back down to 4.0, then update with the "official" one.

i got everything done, but no nothing, the message won't fully send, it stops short of complete. I tried changing the addresses, but that didn't work either. any other suggestions other than wait 15 days??

I tried downloading the carrier file to my windows
when i click .. Shift . update.. it doesnt show the file... am i doing something wrong?
