This is happening to me, too. I also tried changing the thread viewing preferences but this did not help.

Just wanted to say that I use the mobile version with the Nintendo DS browser and it works great. I need to try out the moblie forums though.
 
I thought the iPhone didn't need to use diluted/mobile versions of the web.
That's one of their biggest selling points. That and the shiny logo no doubt!
 
Has anyone had any success with a Blackberry (using the Blackberry browser)? Generally, it renders the news pages very nicely, but the entire part of a forum page that shows the actual posts is completely omitted. Also, while "my threads" show up, the latest posts also just omits the entire segment of the page with the post list.

I'm wondering if there's a setting I messed up when I was playing around with the browser. :eek: I can post pictures if they'd help. :)

It doesn't, but edge is too slow for browsing the regular forums, and it also involves a lot of unnecessary scrolling and zooming.

I thought I had had enough of mobile versions of websites when I got the iPhone..no such luck. They are obviously low bandwidth, which helps speed up load times on something as ****** as edge.
 
Well the wiforum doesn't seem to like the DS browser.

I can access the main news page no problem, but whenever I click on the forums link or even if I enter the URL forums.macrumors.com/wap manually, it directs me to the main forum page. I even tried logging in from the main page and entering the url that way, but still no dice.
 
any fix to this? i'm still not able to see the forums while using my iphone on the mobile site...
 
anyone? bueller? bueller? i still can't see an forum posts on my iphone on edge or wifi. i have made sure the setting show the maximum number of threads & posts possible. is there anything that can be done about this? pretty please? :)

help, I accidently changed the mobile version of the forums to the text only version and I can't change it back.......

HOW????
 
I used to be able to access the WiForums on my iPhone then I went and changed a setting in the user control panel and now the layout of the site is messed up and only shows the top and bottom portion of the page by no forums. Also none of the links are actually linked to anything, they are just the words. Is it possible to get my user account settings for the WiForums reset? I actually prefer the WiForums over the standard forums on the iPhone.

It used to work fine until I changed a setting in the preferences and now it does not work at all :(. I much prefer the WiForums on EDGE. Does anyone know who I would contact to get my account setting reset to the defaults?
 
any update on this? i'm stilling getting what peace posted here whenever i try this from my iphone AND my macbook. i've tried logging out and in several times, changing settings while logged in, etc. both before and after the server move and nothing works! :(
