Go to security and set install from anywhere. That will solve the problem. Once you have it installed, you can toggle back to Mac store only.Every time I try to install the Beta CAT it tells me the "application is damaged and should be moved to trash". What gives? 2.0.0 seems to run fine but I don't want to try to install it.
On El Cap GM, missing continuity badly...
Did you get Handoff working? If not, refer back to the OP, as I updated it to show how to get Handoff working with the fix that Scoobie found.NAiS!

any news?mac midi 2011 with mod internal airport card and bt 4le.
i've update el capitan gm handoff and continuity go but airdrop and hotspot not work
reinstall cloudpaird? re-disable sip? cloudpaird patch it's 10.10.2 if install 10.10.5?
AirDrop is a BT only issue. If it's not working it's likely the card or a bug in the system. Shouldn't be anything CAT related.any news?
.....HOLY #$()&*
it worked!
I stole my wifes 10.10.2 CloudpaidD and HAND OFF WORKS!!!!
Just make a copy of the /system/library/coreservices/cloudpaird and drop this file in instead.
reboot and Voila working Handoff!!!!!!
When you rebooted, did you use Command + R > Utilities > Terminal to turn off SIP? If not, that is probably why you got the message. If you did boot using that method, double-check your usage, as csrutil disable works.Hey everyone, I installed El Cap and machine rebooted with working wifi/BT from the previous CAT install. I am using an internal BT card. AirDrop is not working so I was trying to copy the cloud file, however it won't let me even when using the root account. So I rebooted into recovery and try to disable SIP using "csrutil disable",however in terminal it keeps saying "command not found". Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks. After reinstalling 10.11 I was able to disable SIP, however I don't think the app worked correctly so I'm restoring my Time Machine backup and going to try again. I'll report back once I'm done. When you rebooted, did you use Command + R > Utilities > Terminal to turn off SIP? If not, that is probably why you got the message. As to the cloudpaird file, once you have SIP off, you should be able to drag it over from the desktop. When you do, you should be asked to authenticate (inputting your system password).
As to Airdrop not working, that should be the first thing that usually get enabled, once your card is recognized by the Mac (after CAT). If you get Handoff and the other Continuity features working and Airdrop still doesn't work, try signing out and back in on your phone or iPad (along with a reboot). A lot of times that will get it started. If you have done all that, and Airdrop still isn't working, it could be a bug with El Capitan, as several people have had trouble with Airdrop not working even with newer Macs.
I had that message a few times during various installs after OS upgrade. I ended up reinstalling CAT beta 2.01 and it finally stopped. If that doesn't work for you, I am out of ideas.I got it all to work, with one caveat....
When I reenable SIP, my late 2011 MBPro reports WIFi hardware is missing. I have no such issue when started up from the recovery partition or with it disabled. I have tried everything to get it to work with it enabled. Any ideas? For now I am keeping it off....
P.S. Late 2011 MBPro with 2012 WiFi/BT card running El Capitan GM
How did you do that? Keep SIP disabled, uninstall, reboot, and reinstall? Reinstall right over? With or without SIP on? I'd like to do it EXACTLY how you got that to work...I had that message a few times during various installs after OS upgrade. I ended up reinstalling CAT beta 2.01 and it finally stopped. There have been a few other people to mention the same problem. Hopefully, it can be fixed once El Capitan goes live.

Glad to see that you were able to get it going.I uninstalled (still with SIP off), rebooted, installed with the beta, rebooted, worked....
rebooted into recovery, turned SIP on, rebooted, worked...
But I had it working before for a bit, let's see if WiFi stays on with SIP on over time.
Thanks for all the help everyone.
https://github.com/sysfloat/Continuity-Activation-Tool/tree/betaCan anyone point me to the correct CAT version I should use? I'm going to give it another try when I get home in a bit and just like any to make sure I'm using the proper one. Thanks.
Many thanks. I was able to install and run the app without any probs. Replaced cloudpaird but still no handoff or airdrop. Signed out of iCloud on both devices and no go. Any possible ideas?https://github.com/sysfloat/Continuity-Activation-Tool/tree/beta
Download the zip or click on clone to desktop
When you open System Preferences > General, is enable handoff checked? When you open CAT and click the status option, does everything come back ok?Many thanks. I'm also going to give it some time to see if it picks up.
Yes and yes. I did have to pair my iPhone again in BT settings. Would that have anything to do with it?When you open System Preferences > General, is enable handoff checked? When you open CAT and click the status option, does everything come back ok?
Hmm. I have never had to pair (System Preferences > Bluetooth) my phone with my Mac, in order to use the Continuity features.Yes and yes. I did have to pair my iPhone again in BT settings. Would that have anything to do with it?

Did you replace the cloudpaird file as recently noted in the thread, as well as the updated OP?I'm in the same boat. Everything seems to be like it should, but it just never seems to work. Tried rebooting all devices, iCloud signouts everywhere. My iPhone and iPad handoff to each other just fine. Macbook never see's what they are doing.
edit - Call and text forwarding does work. Just app handoff doesnt work.
Yes to all.Hmm. I have never had to pair (System Preferences > Bluetooth) my phone with my Mac, in order to use the Continuity features.
Both devices signed into the same account and on wifi? Did you reboot both devices? If you go into settings > messages on your phone, do you have the text forwarding option toggle with your Mac listed? Have you tried calling your cell and testing whether your Mac alerts you to the call etc?
Don't really care for app handoff. AirDrop would be nice tho. If it can't work then oh well. At least I can test out El Cap in the meantime.I'm in the same boat.
