I have been using Monoprice for a a few years now and they rock. Cables and TV brackets mostly for various installs I have done.

I also bought an iPhone battery pack from them that was like $15 for a 2000+ mAh pack. It just has a dock connector on it, so it would charge just about anything iPod or iPhone from Apple. Of course, this was a year ago and I do not need it so much for the iPhone 4, the 3G really sucked the battery.

Is it just me or did monoprice just take down all their iphone/ipod accessories and cables? :(

I just chatted with a Monoprice rep. He said they're reorganizing that product category and those products will be back once they're done with that process, later today or early this weekend.

+1 on Monoprice. Everything I've bought from them has been either perfect or supported by a no hassle refund policy. For some of the cheaper items I needed to return for store credit they just told me to throw it away rather than return them.

The $10 spare battery for iPhone is highly recommended.

Has anyone found an iPhone USB cable on monoprice that works with a bumper? The one I bought is the older 3G style tip that won't fit through the bumper.

Ah, all right. Thanks for clarifying that. Should've started up a live chat with them.

Monoprice is great... except when they're losing customer data and credit card numbers like what happened a few months back. They even shut down the site completely for awhile to figure out what happened.

Still, I think 3/4 or more of all the cables in my house are from there.

I'm not sure which one the OP purchased, but the one previously listed as a 'USB Sync Cable for Apple iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch, Classic, Mini, Nano - 2 ft' does NOT work with the bumper.

Live chat just told me "unavailable until further notice" . That doesn't sound good. I wanted to order the 1900 backup battery.

Still gone. Meanwhile, I want to pitch that their silicon cases are great. I got one for my iPod touch a few weeks ago for $0.69, I believe. Fits very snugly. The blue one has some fruity lookin' circles on the back - I feel kinda gay carrying it around, but I tell everyone it was less than a dollar and they're like "oh, cool!". I'll be buying one for my brand new iPhone 3G (I know.. I know..) when.. if they come back up.

Oh, and the cables. Yes! One dollar for a 3 foot iPod cable? If you're afraid it'll be DOA, buy five. It's still a quarter of the price from Apple. :)

Caveat emptor, read the description carefully. I ordered a video out cable for my iPod touch that was only for iPod video, but not very clearly advertised. Better a dollar to Monoprice than a dollar to McDonalds, though.

What's goin on? I wanted to order some of those cheap battery backups for the iPhone and they don't have the iPod/iPhone section back yet  :(

I'm guessing they or one of their suppliers probably got hit with Apple's recent lawsuit against unauthorized third party accessories.

Mind linking me with the lawsuit? Thanks in advance.

This really sucks. My order supposedly shipped through them before they pulled the cables off the website, however the tracking info still says:

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on July 28, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

Does this mean I won't get them? :(

Can someone answer my question above about if I'll get the cables or not now?

Nvm: As soon as I posted that, the tracking finally updated! Should have em tomorrow maybe :D

Congrats. You're going to be the last person in awhile to get your hands on affordable iPhone accessories.

Manufacturers not having the right to ship pieces of plastic shaped to fit an iPhone is a very dangerous precedent, especially since Apple doesn't make cases. Not having the right to ship cables at reasonable prices is anti competitive. If Monoprice can ship cables for $1, I'm sure a 40 billion dollar corp can.

If the accessories don't come back, I'll eat my.. wait, our legal system is retarded.
