Does anyone else think that the leaked photos look like the middle section of this picture...

Just an idea...

You guys need help. Log off socialize alittle then pop into the apple store when the products are released if you want one....

Weird, if this is truly the case that's being released this month, then security has really become incredibly lax. It would (once upon a time) have been near impossible to smuggle a case that size out of a manufacturing plant.

I am most intrigued by the micro-perforations on the top of the macbook pro keyboard panel. Super large speakers? super ventilation? super-likelihood of being clogged up with human goo of various types?

Those are all pretty awesome ideas, actually. :)

Imagine futuristic laser rifles that eject a AA battery after each shot. When you're out of "ammo", you could puck up the empty batteris and throw them into whatever is burning near the target zone. :p

Someone is finally speaking my language. There's nothing better than a battery fire after a laser fight. Nothing at all :D

I wonder the same thing. You'd think a "spy" photo would be taken in a warehouse.

You'd think a "spy" would take a photo wherever the hell he/she darned well pleased.

You'd think a "rogue employee" (or friend thereof) would take a photo wherever he/she thought they could get away with it. It's not hard to imagine a scenario in which someone saw a chance to shove a production part under an apron, took the chance, and ran with it.

That's how I used to shoplift as a young man, in any case ;)

I'm liking the aluminum. These look fairly real too.

absolutely not.

the first picture is a macbook air, with badly photoshoped power switch.
the second picture is even worse, it's a patchwork of three pictures of a mac book pro.

just zoom in, it's pretty obvious, lines, parts of the images are not aligned, differences in texture, lighting etc.

How can several photographs be a rumor?

I'd say that the confluence of photos that have arrived to day would indicate substantially more than a rumor - this is firmly in 'leak' territory if you ask me, either intentional, or not on Apple's part.

Now the question is just 'when'?!?!?!?!?!?

Pics come up all the time and most of the time they are fake. Hence it was just a rumor. Obviously now that there's a media event the pics have more credibility but Apple always (well most of the time *cough iPod nano *cough) surprises us.
