Does anyone think that these cases will do away with the 'sharp' bezel on the bottom of the case - it really cuts into my hands after a while!

I hope this is the Pro version - no more wasted space around the keyboard. The current 15" is a great system, but what a waste of space - they could have easily fit a numeric keypad in all that wasted space around the keyboard - slim it down and tighten it up - a 14" 16:9 screen would easily fit if you don't insist on such large bezels.
Now, if they'd just buy out VMWare for OS X and integrate it into the OS, that would be the final nail in the MS coffin...
Maybe the 'brick' is a new cooling system? The thing uses disposable heat-sinks that it ejects like bullet casings as it overheats them
Or maybe it's managed to harness the brick-like obelisk from 2001 and shunt the insane internal temperatures out through a rift in the space-time continuum.
Or maybe they just give you a big aluminum brick to keep in the freezer, that you can take out an slide under the macbook pro when you start to smell burning silicone.
It's not that it hurst my wrists, it's just that where the section that houses the trackpad and keyboard sits 'inside' the bottom case it digs into the side of my hand as I'm using it. I'm just thinking if this really is the 'brick' case then there may not be a seam at all and thus not hurt my delicate little hands?!if it's not a lot thicker than the voodoo envy, http://www.infosyncworld.com/gfx/articles/voodoo_envy_133_2.jpg , it shouldn't hurt your wrists too much, and I reckon people complaining about MacBooks ergonomics and not MBPs, it's also possible that the missing part, that is to say the bottom of both MBs and MBPs,would add some thickness to the bottom structure,I'd think making it still thinner under your wrists, pretty much like MBA,maybe not that drastically because of the ports and slot drive positioned probably still under your right wrist on MBPs

Don't you think it would be a bit annoying typing on a smaller keyboard, jutted to the left just so that there could be a numeric keypad that hardly anyone would ever use?
Nope. With the current ones the part of the case that the trackpad and keyboard are on sit 'on top' of the rest of the case, so there is a lip or an edge. Look at this pic (mine has also cracked like this incidentally!). It's just a very sharp edge to me.mmm, hands? do you mean the level difference between the last row of keys and the wrist pad?

if that's the case, I find these two to be fairly similar in that area and I don't think the supposedly new Alu one would be two different

Have you seen that there is something under that hand?
It seems to me that it is covering a sticker or something like that..
I'm sure somebody else noticed it, sorry for not reading the whole thread.

I use a Powerbook G4 DVI- the frame of the keys of the keyboard are part of the external case frame in this photo. Is this done with the MB Pros or MBs already?
Hmm, 9to5mac is reporting that Ben Folds is performing live at the Apple Store in Chicago tomorrow. Could these two facts be related? Maybe Apple will buck the trend of tuesdays and just launch new macbooks with a webcast event from Apple store(s)? Would throw everyone for a loop, I think.
why is it taken in a house?
