More Claimed Images of Apple Tablet Bezel

[MacRumors]

Following up last week's report of a claimed image of Apple's tablet "glass" that appears to be more accurately described as the front bezel, The Mac Observer has received two additional images that provide a greater sense of scale for the part.

The Mac Observer again notes that it has been unable to corroborate the information presented in the images, and we remain skeptical of their claims.

I get the camera hole, but why the ear piece hole? You'll look like a wee muppet baby holding it up to your ear. I call fake, or prototype based on that. The rest seems standard "big iPod"

I think MacRumors Page 2 expresses my views on the truthfulness of this.

Perhaps MacObserver just needed some attention, noting the large logo.

that's the hole for the home-button, not camera.

That's what makes me believe that these are fake. But it could be for something else.

There is no reason that an ear piece would be on that device...if it were to be a speaker, it would be in a different place. Nope, sorry nothing here.

What an amazingly inefficient use of screen real estate if it's real. The black areas on either side make it look even less appealing that it would be without. They should make it look like the Macbook Pro screens... uniform black border all around.

Also, has anyone thought that the home button-type hole looks a little big??!

That hole is at least as big as on of the keys on the keyboard in the background. Why would a button need to be that big? Even the power button on my Macbook Pro is smaller than that.

And doesn't the keyboard look weird behind the bezel? It is like I am seeing one of those book reading magnifiers. Agree about the ear hole though...definately an ugly fake.

Here are my PS measurements. The 10.1 diagonal shifted for some reason so subtract a little from all the numbers.

Its hard to tell due to the plastic wrap and the stereotypical low res "leaked" photos, but could the hole we're seeing for the alleged home button me on the back and maybe its a big power button? like think of the bezel as covering the front and partially covering the top and bottom on the back side? Get what im saying?.... Just a thought...
