Clearly, Pandora itself says that all you need is Windows and Flash to play. News flash for you ..... netbooks typically have Windows and Flash. Likewise many netbooks have world/multinetwork capable 3G data modems built in. Even more have USB sockets so that can plug in an even wider variety of 3G modems than that.

You may argue that the iPad might be more elegant, battery conserving , etc. But not work? There is little evidence to support that.
I did not mean that it is technically not possible to listen to Pandora on a netbook, just that it might be impractical to hold a netbook, open and running in one hand, while walking around.
