Found a little bit more about this tonight. VZ's Share Everthing plans are going away and these More Everything plans will be taking their place. They are pushing their Edge Program but it won't be necessary to join because everyone will move to the new plan. Only those on the Edge will receive the discount though. I believe it will start in Early March. That's about all I can say.

Make no mistake folks, these plans are more profitable to Verizon. There will always be a set that benefits from their changes, but most will be forced to alter usage to see any benefit. That decreases your value while increasing their profits. If it works for you, great. If it doesn't, stay with what you have!!!

Biggest problem I see is that your can't bring your on phone (unless you have an old verizon cdma phone laying around). Verizon will only allow CDMA phones originally assigned to verizon on their network. If you switch from ATT/T-Mobile/Sprint, you'll have to buy a completely new phone at full price or with edge.

considering that your price will go up to $40 if you go with traditional 2 year plan most people will switch

Typical VZW arrogance in these plans and terms. If coverage isn't a factor, I don't understand how anyone stands to be with them!?

AT&T mops the floor with this lame a** company.

I DISLIKE VZW VERY MUCH!!! They're the only wireless provider I've never had and NEVER would consider!!!

In what way does AT&T "mops the floor" with VZW?

Yea that would be a big mistake...

Increased coverage?

Looks like Verizon has something to announce tomorrow called # More Everything Plans

Plans will take subsidy out of the pricing and bundle with Edge offerings - thank you TMobile

Looks like pricing will be a savings for family plans

Sorry for the grainy picture

In the first slide it says "More Network Strength: Doubled the bandwidth in cities coast to coast."

Is this referring to the AWS frequencies Verizon has rolled out? If so, how would I know if the additional bandwidth has been deployed in my location? If they're not referring to the AWS rollout, has Verizon done something else?

Plans are live.

Wow they just screwed me hard. Time to switch.

"If you are activating a Data-Only Plan or if you're on a month–to–month term, you are not eligible for monthly access fee discounts."

Wow. Ya I switched to tmobile because I was tired of my extremely high verizon bill. Well tmobile is no good in my area so I switched to att and couldn't be happier. I actually have more lte with att in my area than verizon does, faster speeds, no contract, and 10 gb with 2 lines for $130. Not to mention the customer service in the stores is amazing. I know it can't be like this everywhere, but every verizon store in my area treats you like your an idiot. Location location location. I know this is probably the complete opposite in other areas, but att has really surprised me.

I'm sure verizon expected a certain amount of churn. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

As much as I like my Verizon services this plan should have reduced bills for all 10gb or above customers - it didn't so - for me it seals the deal - my 3 lines will be ported today - I'm officially done with Verizon - I will give them their $510 bucks in eft fees as I no longer want to do any business with them

I just logged into my account and it looks like they automatically increased my 2GB share plan to 3GB for the same price. Not too impressed by this offer. I expected something a little more significant to counter AT&T. Will be moving these last 2 lines over to T-Mobile before the end of this bill cycle.

I hear you. I'm locked into Verizon with 4 lines of unlimited data and plan discounts. I'm not saving much money by moving to another carrier, so I can wait it out and see what Verizon does in the future.

Because at&t doesn't "mop the floor" with VZW. You don't care for VZW and that's it. Use whatever works for you and others will use whatever works for them. One carrier does not fit all.

I would ride the unlimited wave out too - you are in a good position - I kick myself for giving up the unlimited plan when I added my son and husband to my account

For me the math is simple -I can pay them $510 total for 3 lines and port today - AT&T promo gives me $300 bucks - so net $210- my plan difference is $70 bucks and my employer has free activation so in 3 months I have made up the difference

When the iPhone 6 is released I will buy it outright or do a 2 year which still has a potential savings of $55 a month over my existing Verizon plan

Almost 60 bucks/mo is a worthy savings for the same coverage. I would hop also.

If thats true....I will be leaving Verizon tomorrow. My AT&T is here and I wont do Edge I want the option to buy my phones full value and pay $20 a month vs $40
I can't believe that they won't discount the $40 monthly smartphone fee for folks that purchase their phones outright (like AT&T does).

Wonder if they'll reconsider that at some point...

I wonder if they would do it when the contract ends for a discounted phone (and thus the phone is "paid off" so to say), or would you still need to do something else related to Edge to get that. Seems like being off contract would be the same essentially.

I activated my AT&T sim and immediately it was like night and day where I live. I live in a small town half between Sacramento and San Francisco called Green Valley. The data performance was cut in half on AT&T LTE in MY AREA.

I have an iPhone 5s so that was not good for me because my other two devices are iPhone 5(s). So it was a quick test for me---When I called to cancel my AT&T I was told I needed to take the sim card to the local store.

The manager of the store confirmed my area was a new area and it would be at least 6 months before they would be up to speed...

So Verizon by default you are still my provider....Had AT&T been half as good as my Verizon service I would have been very happy at saving big money but for at least 6 months I will remain a Verizon customer.

In 4 months I will be off contract so we will see if Verizon will do something MORE to retain me as a customer as my husband's and son's contracts end in July and August

I am very bummed my only option is a company who doesnt believe in real options.

So you bought an At&t sim without cancelling verizon? How did you do this?

How fast is the Verizon in your area?

Verizon just started switching on additional LTE (using AWS) where I live (Virginia's largest metro area). Here's what I get. AT&T's old 4G network here is that fast. Their LTE network here is 10-15Mbps.

I only went with Verizon because their phones are unlocked and I travel internationally for work and need that. But now that I can buy my ATT phone full price (which comes unlocked) and get a $25/month discount, I'm not stuck with Verizon (thankfully)!

Most verizon lte phones are gsm unlocked. Now iPhone 5s and 5C (that are sold with verizon) have same exact hardware to be used on lte on tmobile and ATT. .....yeah yeah. I know if u have iPhone 5s on ATT unlocked. Verizon won't activate it.

My Verizon service averages about 15 - 18 Mbps-the AT&T service was 3-6 Mbps and I dropped a call twice
