Look the thing is, even if it is REAL, I find it hard to believe Apple somehow let one slip. And the fact that they would not ACT to get that video taken down somehow immediately is strange to me. We all know how crazy PRIVATE apple is.

Apple PR even leaks data intentionally to see how people & press will react

The amount of denial from some of the commentators here is outstanding. Ok lets see what we can get from the chinese pics and videos...

Siri - check
Appstore - check
Touch ID - check
6th row - check
camera with filter and apple interface - check
almost every app opened including passbook and health - check
calculator interface behaviour - check
KEYBOARD - check
Settings app - check
clock app in line with latest yosemite os - check

I'm not sure what more do these ppl need. Maybe they havent watched the latest short videos on weibo. go watch them. any doubts was crushed when i watched this short vids. simply too smooth to be a clone.
People saying that it's ugly and if this is real they won't buy the iPhone 6 - check

I am inclined to agree. If this was a mockup, someone has put in a lot of effort to create a fake which would be debunked in less than 2 days, and for no apparent benefit.

At this stage, occam's razor suggests that someone simply managed to sneak a working version of the phone out of the factory.

Wouldn't people know a fake when they see one ?

English names under the app mixed with Chinese names apps..

Why English if this is supposed to be a Chinese phone ? Wouldn't it al be either English or Chinese ?

Even Apple's own apps, some are Chinese, others are English versions...

Maybe i'm just pulling strings, but i couldn't help this.

I'm really interested now :p

You can change your iPhone's system language to Chinese (simplified) and take a look at the home screen. At least "App Store", "iTunes Store" and "iBooks" don't have Chinese translation. Literal translations of those Apple trademarks will be awkward, let me guess, e.g. App商店, i音乐商店, i书? Even Apple's company name and "iPhone" are not translated into other languages.

You guys still somehow are convinced this is real??? Numerous inconsistencies with actual iPhones, one of the most credible sources of Apple leaks in the world claiming it's fake, and the emergence of two other "real" iPhone 6's on the same day are still not enough for everyone to wake up and realize this is a fake phone? If it was real, Apple's legal team would've had the phone remotely wiped and the videos taken down immediately. It's nothing but a really detailed fake, which is likely comprised of iPhone 5s internals stuffed inside a bigger shell. Wake up, everyone. This isn't the first time someone has tried to fool everyone into thinking they have the new iPhone before its announcement.

Because this is a Chinese website. No one can touch them except china government. New to how china works?

Looking at the schematic, there is a green spot in between the volume buttons and on the leaked device there's a clear thing there. As someone else has pointed out, this could be an LED notification light

The green portion shows depth (cut in), thus the mute section and in between the volume rockers. No LED notifications on the iPhone6, as per their own design philosophy of keeping things simple and upfront.

I think people will still be arguing about whether or not this phone is real up until the minute apple shows the new iPhone. even then, if it looks exactly the same, the naysayers will still be arguing that this phone isn't real. This thread could last a long long time.

It's easy. Someone from the factory that manufactures the devices "loses" a phone (which may be an early prototype) and it ends up in this guys' hands. Not really too hard to imagine considering you are talking about one device out of millions being made.

You completely over-estimate the powers of Apple's legal team. These videos were posted a day or two ago at most? Even if they were able to somehow find this person, what could they do to force him to take the vids down besides legal threats? If this guy doesn't listen, that is about all they can do. Given that we are just days away from the press event, what would even be the point of trying to hunt this guy down and force him to take the vids down? They are out there. They've had their effect. They aren't going to be able to contain this within 2-3 days.

They may want to punish him, and the original leaker from the factory, but there is absolutely no point to spend the money to rush it.

I am sure after the iPhone4 bar debacle, Apple must have implemented means to turn off/geo locate any beta/prototype devices - by now these guys would have been found. If this was stolen from the final shipping stock there would be no way to activate the device.

Keynote can't come soon enough, to end all these idiotic threads, replete with stupid comments. If this were a newspaper, it would go bankrupt.

Def not real, other leaks I've seen in terms of the glass and size do not line up with this one... Especially the leak from Feld & Volk you notice their parts have smaller bezels and the home button runs off the bottom edge of the screen.

This can easily be faked with 5/5s internals, a bunch of faked parts and a simple jailbreak.... I bet if you pulled that thing apart you will see hacked together parts inside.

The video from Feld & Volk I think are actual parts, the bezels are smaller than this and just looks more refined.

I guess we'll find out soon but I guarantee this is not it.

I remember when pics of the 5c leaked they were screaming there's no way apple would have it look like that. Yet it was real.

I've seen the leaks. My body is ready.

Stop saying "My body is ready" - it sounds utterly retarded.

Change your iOS device's language to Chinese... that's exactly what you're going to see. Here's an example:

This is from my iPhone 5 running iOS 8. And that's how it's functioned in every iOS version - some English words just don't translate or, if they do, have more "value" in English (i.e. trademarked phrases) - App Store, although not shown on my home screen, is one of those, along with Game Center (which IS shown on my home screen) & FaceTime.

All of the reasons that folks are posting here in favor of this leak being fake or being the Goophone are ridiculous. The animation is too smooth for a fake - no Android build runs that smooth, period. Yes, the Passbook icon is different because as the part leaks have proven, this device is going to have NFC. As for it being "too big," there have already been indications that Apple is going to offer two different sizes. And finally, the language of some of the icons is in English because it's by design and has been that way in every single iOS iteration.

Looks real to me. If it's fake they've gone to a lot of effort.
I don't mind the look of it, but won't be getting one (unless I'm given one), only due to having more than a year left on my current contract, meaning it's too costly to get out just yet ($800 I don't have). Plus I'm spending some time with WP and a Lumia 930, which I'm quite enjoying.
I'm still interested to see what is released, and I will be checking it out in store, possibly I'll come back with the S cycle if I decide WP isn't for me.

Forget the iPhone, somebody get that person in the background a cough lozenge.

lol..

ok... this could go back and fourth all day...

Change your iOS device's language to Chinese... that's exactly what you're going to see.

However, your right there... Safari was in English when i changed it to Chinese on my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.
