The 12 pro max was more popular than the 12 pro.

Pretty easy to assume the trend will continue.

Yeah I’m going to try and give it an honest chance. If I don’t, I’ll be wondering ‘what if’ and I don’t want that internal struggle. I know what the Pro brings and I’ll happily return to it if this proves too much.
The battery in the pro max is insane! I currently have both max and pro but think I’d be better off with bigger battery in long run.

Anyone here having issues at all with the 13 Pro cameras (not sharp, lack of good focus, etc.) that some are mentioning in another thread? Hoping that is isolated to a few bad devices and not a trending thing- I am hovering over the "buy" button now for a 13 Pro with my carrier, who shockingly has them in stock.

I did not upgrade this year but I’m a PM user always have been always will be. Sometimes I actually think the Max is too small and could be larger. 😂

You’re right, you don’t want that. I realized a couple days after my return window had passed that I was wishing I had gone for the Max. At the same time, I’m really happy with my Pro so…… yeah.

It’s such a heart wrenching decision. A legit first world problem. I don’t care about battery either. It’s cool but I’m never far from a charger. There’s a lotta pros with the regular pro. It’s gonna all come down to real life usage.

I went with the 13 Pro. I had a 12 Pro Max and just felt it was too big for my hands. I really love the smaller size of the 13 Pro.

I went the other way around this year. Tried the normal pro and then the pro max. With less travel these days and that massive gorgeous screen I thought the small device for £100 less wasn’t really bringing me any benefits over the max size. It fits in my slim fit jeans without any issues and since I also use an  watch and AirPods I hardly ever take the phone out when I’m out and about.

Interestingly I read here where folks talk about how you get used to the Max size in no time and how it looks normal after awhile. I also had a 11 PM and remember being in an Apple store a few months back and picking up the 12 Pro and thinking how small it felt. Picked up the Max and it did feel "normal". However I still decided to get the Pro this time around and while it did seem a bit small at first, now it feel completely normal. And while smaller, it's not exactly a small phone by small phone standards. I've really like the smaller size now. Just my 2 cents.

13PM is arriving today - I’ve always had the jumbo phones since 6 Plus but this time around I’m thinking I might like the 13 Pro bc my 12PM has felt unwieldy at times (I bought it for camera upgrade and battery life). Problem is I can’t find a 13 Pro unlocked 256 available anywhere in my vicinity despite checking stock multiple times daily. Would like to buy outright and test drive/carry both for comparison purposes and then return one or the other before trading in my 12PM. I have felt like 12PM is a tad wide in my hand with a case and a lot of weight in my pockets, esp when wearing sweatpants or shorts. But I would also miss battery life of the PM.

It's been my experience so far that my 13 Pro has similar battery life to my 12PM.

that would be enough for me. Do you think the screen is as bright/clear? I have a really good screen on 12PM. It would really be nice to carry a smaller phone, IMO. I have a secondary device, a Galaxy Flip 3, and the best thing for me about it is the portability. I haven’t had that since XR. Anyway, hopefully a 13P will show up in stock somewhere and I can try before return window is up.

Pro, but I have an iPad and an Ultrawide monitor. If I didn't have an iPad, I'd probably be Pro Max. I hate when my phone is in the way UNLESS it's worth it. I have pretty big hands, but don't know why I'm opposed to massive phones.

The size of the Max used to bother me in my pocket.

With the 13 Pro Max, it just feels like infinite battery.

We’re you able to get a pro max yet?

I think design has a huge factor. I've had larger Android phones that felt smaller. The premium design of the pro definitely makes it feel different. Come to think of it, the 4S always felt huge to me.

It's all a matter of relevance. I remember how amazed I was when I saw my friend using his iPhone 6 Plus when he first got it. Now, it's on the smaller side of the spectrum. Phones are nearing the size of tablets from year's back.

The screen I actually find to be brighter on my 13 Pro than my 12PM and its very clear. Has a slightly higher ppi too.

I am much more comfortable with iPhone 13 pro mostly gamers prefer pro max for me personally 13 pro is much more easier to carry around
