dont mean to revive an old thread, but figured id ask those who have been using the moshi cleargaurd has it been effective? do the black keys still get wear or shine to them after removing the cleargaurd?
thinking of getting one soon.

My keys remain clean. As long as you monthly (well 1-2 months for me) wash the Clearguard (I use a toothbrush and dishwasher fluid), than you should be fine.

I started a new thread (mistake) but I thought I'd concur after receiving my Moshi stuff today, it's awesome, looks great and well worth the money.

DO NOT WASH WITH HAND SOAP. I made that mistake until a customer service rep explained to me that the moisturizers in hand soap leave a cloudy residue on the Clearguard. It doesn't damage it, but it will make it "cloudy". I was told to use a liquid dishwasher detergent and it works much better. Also, it is necessary to clean both the front and the back. I'm not sure why that is since I thought only the side that I touch would get dirty, but that is what I was told so I tried, and it made a HUGE difference. It is not as clear as when it was brand new, but clear enough so that I have no complaints.
