I hate being told the iPhone 4 sucks. That's the only thing that annoys me! The other day my friend went "HA HA! You got an iPhone 4?! That thing sucks! So does AT&T!" The guy has some cheap phone and has Metro PCS. Never had AT&T a day in his life. I can't stand people like that. I would never bash another person's purchase. Unless they purchased a PC. Now that's a different story. LOL. :D

Some "friend" you have there.

1. The phone makes too many rattling sounds, like when it vibrates or is laid on a table. Oddly enough, it doesn't do it when it is face down.

2. After double clicking to bring up the app switcher, a single click of the home button closes the app switcher AND the app running. I hate this. I only want the app switcher to close for a single click.

You just tap the screen above the app switcher, it closes app switcher and keeps the app open. Simples

Everyone asking to see it when I pull it out.

And the first thing people ask me when they hold it is 'Does it have problems?'

Weird.

Exactly. Same thing happens to me. But, you'll still see people on here that say Apple didn't take a PR hit with antennagate. I say, absolutely they did.

Beejive hanging all the time and hitting home key will not close/restart the app. Instead, you have to hit home key, then double click home, then manually kill app, hit home key again, then click on its icon to restart. There should be an easier way to force quit. Or, not allow some apps to multitask. What every happened to "if you have a task bar, you've failed"?

You could just hold down the power button and when the slide to turn off comes on let go of it and hold down the home button and then after a while the screen should go and load up the home screen.

How about when you download an app and it kicks you back to the home screen? It does it on the iPad too. Why? Maybe I want to download more than one app.

That's prob cause he doesn't have one and can't afford an iPhone or AT&T:)

when i write "me" it auto-corrects it to "mr"

other than that i love this phone!

You have someone in your contacts named Mr. something. If you fix that, you won't have that problem anymore.

Edit: Okay, this is weird. I set my text message tone to "none", but it makes the iChat sound instead now. Kinda neat... a new way to have a different message tone than everyone else!

The MOST annoying thing for me is that my phone is ALWAYS tripping and says SIM card not installed!...... Sometimes it'll just do it when im using the phone or on a phone call and it drops the call, and sometimes it just does it silently and i don't notice it until i go to unlock my phone.

Another strange thing that i just started noticing is the home button trips and i don't have it jailbroken.

One more thing is the proximity sensor, but that one is a given defect "in the software"....

I am hoping to get a replacement out to me soon... :)

Lets make a list of things that are minor issues, but are annoying at the same time. Please do not talk about the antenna here. I'll start the list. A few things that have been really annoying me about my iPhone 4.

1. After downloading an App, my iPod music stops (so does Pandora). Why does it do this?

2. Multitasking can be so helpful sometimes, but there are some apps (ahem, FaceBook) that I wish would go back to the beginning after every launch. I hate opening FaceBook only to find that it's still on some comments page or something. I just wanna open it and have it be back at the FaceBook live feed.

3. Putting Mail in landscape makes the text bigger. I want the text to be the same size and flow to the new landscape position, not magnify. It seems like I should be able to see more text when I put mail in landscape mode.

4. I wish Apple put together a list of ALL iPhone 4 apps that are built to have retina display graphics and/or multitasking/save-state functions. Apple has a list on the App Store, but it's only 74 apps or so. I feel like I'm missing out on some great apps because I don't have time to search through every single description looking for "retina display graphics" on every app possible. I know there's more than 74 apps that have been updated for the iPhone 4 because I've seen apps with retina graphics that aren't in Apple's list.

Anyone else want to contribute to my list?

About the Facebook thing, i feel you. I hate that if someone asks to see your iPhone, it'll show them what you were last looking at. But then, if you get a txt message and have to switch and switch back it's a good thing to leave it where you left off... It's kind of a win-lose situation. At least it's not like MySpace that hasn't updated their app in ages and when you try to multitask with it, it has to sign you in AGAIN and you have to start all over....

one of the things that gets me time and again is the AutoCorrect. It's beyond frustrating to be typing full speed and miss Xing out of the replacement word, or when it keeps wanting to change the word.. and it takes more time to select a word, than opt to change word, then pick the word if it is even on the list... i still find myself just backspacing repeatedly...

The inability to turn off Spotlight Search. I find it utterly useless. I've never once used since they rolled it out 2 years ago. I hate the fact that with one simple wayward push of a button, it dumps me into a screen I do not want and I have ZERO control over it.

Neither Cydia, Installous, nor Apple themselves have offered a solution as of yet.

That despite the fact that it is in it's 4th iteration, it still is...an iPhone.

I think spotlight is pretty lame as well, but I found one minor use for it - I hide a few of my apps that don't get launched much, but when I need to, the only way I can do so is through spotlight. FirewallIP is one of such apps.
