called today. the technician just told me to wait. he did see my records on it and he told me the code would arrive shortly. meh, all my co-workers are already upgraded..

Still puzzled why Apple don't just send codes out without having to do the form. After all they have our order details and qualifying machines so why make things overly tedious for your customers?

Yeah. I think if I get a new Mac in the future, I'll wait for the new OS to come built-in instead of submitting my serial...

This. I don't mind waiting at all, but I am left to wonder what exactly they need information-wise that would take more than 24 hours.

Yup.....still waiting 3 days in. Amazing. Hopefully my code arrives before the world ends in a few months.

I submitted at 8AM Wednesday morning. Still nothing but a announcment email telling me about ML....like the previous poster said, they are taunting me.

I did end up buying it on the first day but I wonder if the code will work for someone else. Its just a redeem in the mac store.

I put in for my upgrade yesterday and got it in the email today. they did make a mistake though and auto corrected it. they sent me a email that was supposed to have a file attached to it that did not along with another email with a key to open it. then they sent it to me again this time with the correct attachment and another key to open it.

mountain lion is installed and went smooth. for folks looking for the power nap setting after you do an update its under power savings then battery at the bottom if they dont know where it is.

Mine took about 24 hours to arrive. I'm planning to wait at least a few days before downloading it, though, because the servers are flooded and to avoid the bugs that often come with a first-gen product.

After 53 hours...i finally received my code. Hopefully it'll work once i get home tonight.

Entered it 15 minutes ago, and got the code right now. Question. I got the Air today, but it's on Lion. My iMac is on Snow Leopard and that system could use an OS upgrade, can I use the key on my iMac instead?

I've never used Lion or Mountain Lion, so Lion on the Air will be a new experience for me anyways so I'd like to upgrade my iMac instead. Does Apple's system verify serial # before it allows you to download?

Thanks.

This is strange... I got the password, but not the other email with the content code. Oh brother... this thing is a mess. Now I get to wait some more.:apple:

Me too, my code was fast to get to me but I think I'm going to wait a week or so until an update is released that addresses some of the bugs people are having.

Mine showed up today, and I performed the upgrade. The only thing that said it wasnt compliant was display link, but they had a patch on their website.

Everything seems to working fine and backup to time capsule is running now. I am going to be testing airplay in a bit.

I use a 27" Thunderbolt display and a 23" Dell as a third monitor from my 2012 MacBook Air. I also run Office for MAC, Citrix receiver, and chrome aside from normal MAC applications and have had no issues for those who are interested.

I submitted mine in the day it got released and got it on the 27th. Just installed it, had no problems getting the code. Can't wait to try the Dictation function thing.

Can't remember quite when I put in the request but the emails came a few hours later. Installation went smoothly but I've been out all day so have yet to get to grips with any of the new features really.
