OMG........what is wrong with the world

Some of this comes from the parent that let their childeren do it, and giving in to them.............wonder what they will do when they are 30....."Daddy can I have a new car, house"........

My sister and brother-in-law had a huge shindig for my neice's 16 b-day (two years ago). They invited me to the party to "supervise" since there were nearly 100 of the amanda's (my neice) friends there. I don't know how much the party cost but it must have been a lot. There was a DJ with a guy who would do activities with people, catered food, a big rented tent thing, lots of food, an inground pool, and they gave her a car (my sisters 2 year old BMW 3-series).

Hows that for spoiled. My brother-in-law comes from a huge family of money and is very successful. My sister and I come from a bit of family money, but her husband is just really wealthy- like multi multi multi millionare. Even though they are quite wealthy, they are not *too* flashy with everything. There house is big, but not a giant stone castle. My brother in law has a V8 Touareg and a 2001 or 2002 E320, my sister has an 3.0 X5 now, amanda has a 3-series, and they have a 15 year old son. If they wanted they could own a maserati quatroporte (saw one on the highway- made my mercededes look like a piece of crap), a rolls royce and a Hummer H1.

Damn, a house (a good one 1,200 sq feet) is about $120,000 here in Eugene. That means more money for the Macs!
