My iPhone 15 Pro is plenty bright outside. I can see it fine through my transition lenses. So unless you have dark sunglasses, I don’t see much of an issue.
Folks, remember plenty of perceptual subjectivity at play when eyes and ears process light and sound. What’s too bright for some can be too dim for others. Good thing, we do not have a taste&smellPhone …
No problem, just remember to switch it back off if you're gonna be outside where it's bright. I've forgot to a few times and wondered why I couldn't see my phone lol
I will say, I just completed our annual May beach-trip last week. With previous phones I would have to dip my sunglasses to see my screen, with my 17pro, no such dipping was needed. Unless, I switched to my iPad mini.
People mentioning the brighter screen miss that a lot of it isn't about having a continually-brighter display, but rather about highlights/HDR being brighter.
