On WiFi or just cellular? The big issue is WiFi related.Umm.... I was able to back up my iPhone at 10:49ET... I even updated some apps. Worked fine... Weird.
I got so frustrated trying to set up my new Mac. I still can't download El Capitan because it's taking hours just to download a few megabytes.Only took 6 days of constant communication with Apple support for them to finally admit there is a problem. They were so insistent that it was not them, even though they could duplicate it on their own computers.
It took 18 hours to upgrade my girlfriends replacement 6s from 9.0.2 to 9.1 (252mb).I got so frustrated trying to set up my new Mac. I still can't download El Capitan because it's taking hours just to download a few megabytes.
??? This was a temporary minor thing....Only took 6 days of constant communication with Apple support for them to finally admit there is a problem. They were so insistent that it was not them, even though they could duplicate it on their own computers.
This probably explains the painfully slow experience I had downloading the new OS X beta the other day...
Some here. I've had nothing but problems downloading and updating apps. I'm very surprised that Apple hasn't fix this yet.I've been experiencing App Store trouble for a week now.
It started on Thursday, just Apple kept denying it.This is just a temporary server issue (hopefully) that looks like it just started today. Any other issues you had weren't related to this.
No its not. There are other members on the forums that have been posting issues for almost a week now. Even in this thread others have said its been a week for them.??? This was a temporary minor thing....
Ok this is weird, everything on LTE is working fine but Wifi through AppleExtreme is really dodgy and slow. Chrome shows "Resolving host..." on the bottom before the page loads. Why would an Apple router be affected this way? And why does it seem like the router is tied with Apple services somehow? On LTE Apple.com and AppStore work but through Wifi nothing loads.

Correct. This is the issue. Those on WiFi are unable to reach gs.apple.com (update server), but those on cellular can. I have been able to confirm this multiple times.

Me neither. It lasted like 5 minutes for me... no biggieWeird. I haven't had any issues until today. It's just flat out.
I have an AirPort Extreme 6th Gen (802.11ac), no issues here browsing the web.
Ok. How is that related to this temporary outage? That would have zero to do with Apple server having a bit of an issueSure what? Seriously, what are you getting at. I have spent over 10 hours on the phone with Tier 2 support and engineers trying to figure out the issue. I have 8iOS and 4 OS X devices in my household that cannot download a single thing over Wifi, but only on LTE. Go look through the iOS 9 forum, you will see that I have posted there many times.

I'm on the east coast with no issues, in fact I actually just finished downloading 1.5 gigs in Mac App Store apps.
