Hi all, I have created a Muse website, and want a simple buy it now for the product, after which the purchaser will be sent to a 'Thanks' page with the option to then return to home. This will be both engaging but also enable the user to know that their purchase has been accepted. My client has a Paypal Business Account and has set up the selling process and sent me the HTML which strips in fine and I have indeed bought the product myself to test it. However we cannot work out how to forward the purchaser to a Thanks page which is designed and loaded up to the website server.

So -
1) Assuming it has to be done from client's end, how do I find and extract the URL for the specific Thanks page in the Muse website? Even if it's all loaded up I obviously cannot navigate to the page as it is hidden within the website, so where do I find its URL? There is an area on the client's Paypal dashboard that will allow him to forward the purchaser there if I can give him the URL.

2) If I can get as far as point 1 - will the final website know which version of the Thanks page to load depending on viewing platform? I have designed the page for Laptop, Tablet and Smart Phone yet wouldn't the Thanks page URL just be the Laptop version??

3) To set up a simple Paypal widget within Muse is dead easy but has limited functionality and definitely no field to enter a forwarding to Thank You page, also I'm sure in either scenario 1 or 3 my client will not wish to give me his Paypal Account details so I can access his account and try to sort.

Any help or recommendations will be most helpful

Thanks in advance Drew Hughes

I think you're basically there. Upload your Thank You page as you would any of your other pages and make note of the url path (i.e.: www. mywebsite/thanks.html). If the page is not identifiable by a link anywhere on your website, people won't be able view it. Back in PayPal, find the place to include your url path after a purchase has been made. I believe it should be as easy as that.
