1.That sucks, but what does that have to do with our considerations for which phone you should get. We have no idea how much money you are willing to spend. Both the 4 and 4S will get lost equally easily if you leave them in a taxi...
2. Both the 4 and 4S are equals in this regard. They will take all of those devices and put them into one.
3. Hangs? I don't understand. It's laggy? You will get some lag here and there with any phone. If you;re doing multiple things at once, you will see this happen.
4. Again, do you have the extra $300? Is it a big deal to you to spend the extra cash? If it's a week's salary, save the money and go with the 4. If you make $300+ a day, who cares? Go with the 4S.
5. This is the same question as 4, simply reworded. Please read my response above.
6. I don't know...
a. Personally the 4 has a great camera. 4S shines with video, IMO. Image stabilization for the camera is nice too I guess. I never REALLY found I needed it.
b. Its GPS is fine. No turn by turn without buying an app, which will rund another $50 or so. It works spot on for me, and I have been using it since the 3G (which didn't have a TRUE GPS chip)
c. 4S will load slightly faster. It also has HSPA+ capability. This is a little subjective. Side by side the 4S will likely beat the 4, but when you are using one or the other you won't likely notice a difference.
7. Ok, again, this isn't a question really... If you can spend the cash, go 4S. If you can;t swing it, get the 4. It's THAT simple. As I said before, it's probably not worth it if the difference is a week's pay. If you aren't working minimum wage flipping burgers (no offense meant to anyone with this) and have a career job that pays well, why not pamper yourself? You will likely have the phone for a year or more!

Really? I almost bought a Samsung Galaxy SII, but was worried about the updates.
Why? The phone looks good to you NOW, right? What updates are you worried you will not get? Apple pushes all updates, but leaves out key features for various devices. You are on the latest VERSION of the OS, but you still don't get all of the features. IMO that isn't any better. It may make you feel better saying you are on 5.0.1 but not all phones with 5.0.1 are equal....
