Agree with you 100%. I was 50/50 until I printed out the stencil. Also, I paid attention to how often I used my iPhone 5 with one hand. Was shocked because I didn't realize I used it one handed as much as I actually did. I knew the 4.7 was my best choice.

Exact same experience here. When I made the cardboard cutout and put it in my front khakis pocket (how I usually have it at work) and sat down it was clear that it was going to be uncomfortable. And I can easily hold the Plus with one hand, but I can't hold it and use it with one hand. And I use my 5 a lot one handed just like you said. So it will be the 6 for me.

The wife wants the Plus because she prefers to do a lot of reading on hers (even when her iPad is lying beside her). She carries it in a tote bag, never in a pocket. And I don't think I've ever seen her use it one handed. So the Plus will be perfect for her.

I have 2 or 3 guy friends and that's how it shook out at their house also. We're all middle aged professional guys. Your mileage may vary if your lifestyle is different.

However, the fact that the Plus sold out so quickly is a byproduct of us (Apple fans) that have no idea just how big this thing is.

Wow. Presume much?

I guess there's no way I or anyone else could've spent time with a Note 3 (almost the exact same size as the Plus), made a scale cut out of the Plus with layers of cardboard and carried it around, or simply, you know, looked at the dimensions and used our brains?

It continues to baffle me why people feel the need to justify their purchase decisions. If you like the 6, bully for you. But please don't presume to know what's best for me or anyone else.

Sheesh.

I don't get why people need to make cases why the two phones are better than each other... aside from a few small details, the phones are essentially the same. The only question you should ask is "Do I want a 5.5" screen or a 4.7" screen?"

I predict that more people will end up realizing that 5.5" is too big rather than people feeling that 4.7" is too small.

The market should eventually settle out to where the 5.5" sells less units than the 4.7" even after adjusting for the price. The current 6+ sellout is due to very low initial inventory.

I've found that most guys carry their phone in their pocket, whereas girls tend to put their phones in their purse or some larger area besides their pocket. So totally un PC prediction: women will preferentially buy more 6+ than the guys.

I do see Galaxy Notes in public, but not nearly as many as the Galaxy S5.

I see the 4.7" outselling the 5.5" by a large margin in the end.

Welcome to the world of Android, where since we have choice we need to convince others why our choice is better than someone else's.

This shows the level of immaturity of this forum.

People hate being told what should like by other posters.

the 4.7 will sell more simply by their being more available. LMAO! Most people claim they like the big screen.

I had the Note 3, went to the S5 instead.

I rather use my tablet for movies/video and games versus a phablet and that is what I did anyway when I had the Note.

The 6 Plus will be culture shock to iPhone users who for years made due with the smaller display. I obviously do not know the percentage of returns but I would not be surprised if it is more than folks would of guessed.

Been there, done that and lesson learned. We will see how others make out.

Yup, I bought a phablet and decided I would rather use my tablet. No harm done and lesson learned. Iphone 6 for me!

I think there will be a lot of returns of the Plus because as Apple fans, the biggest phone we've had has been 4 inches. And the fact that there will be a ton of returns for the Plus, and not so much for the 6, shows that the 6 is the better choice.

You begin this statement with "I think" which is good as you don't knkw. You then end the statement with a fact that there will be a ton of iPhone 6 Plus returns. How do you know that? Unless you have a way of seeing into the future I doubt you know this. So your point is null and void.

I believe you should add "for me" to the end of your thread title. Just because the iPhone 6 is great for you, does not mean it is for everyone. I've owned the Note 3. Loved it, hated Android. So the iPhone 6 Plus is perfect for me and my use. Should I start telling everyone that the iPhone 6 Plus is better because it suits my needs?

Don't state fact from your own opinion and guesses.

iPhone 6 didn't have a 1080p display. iPhone 6 Plus did.

iPhone 6 Plus has a higher PPI.

No regrets ordering the latter because of this.
