...did you read the first post in this thread?

yes I did...my point was that there are conflicting reports on the application of the discounts. Some are reporting that Data Plans will not receive the discounts. Just because one company's terms with ATT may be eligible, does not mean everyone else's will.

From ATT Premier Site:
"To Which Charges Does My Service Discount Apply?
The charges to which your Service Discount applies are subject to the arrangement between your organization and AT&T. Typically, the Service Discount is applied to the Monthly Service Charge on most voice and data rate plans. Note: On FamilyTalk plans, only the Primary Line will receive the discount under eligible Agreements; additional Lines do not receive the Service Discount. For questions about the specific discount available to you, contact the appropriate department within your organization responsible for wireless program administration..."

How did you all find out what exact discount percentage you get? Is there a link to a specific site?

There are a few ways, all mentioned somewhere around here before:

1- track down your company's ATT rep. If you have a FAN number, there is a rep assigned to your company (mine only has one person listed for all 140,000 of us). Call/email them and they will tell you right away...

2-enter your email in the form here
https://www.wireless.att.com/business/enrollment/?_requestid=72722
you will get an email at your work email address telling you to validate it. Once you log into the "premier" site you should see your FAN number listed at the top. Then browse through the plans like you were getting a new phone and the prices will show up. You have to do this to activate the FAN number on your account anyway.

3-call ATT, tell them what company you work for, and they'll tell you your discount

Hi, i was wondering if this is still going on? i would like to get an iphone soon and im interested!

Thanks, just tried it to see if I was eligible for Student Discount. I was, put in my info, now I am approved. Don't know what my % savings is going to be, even a 15% is fine with me.

I got 15% off my bill from the student discount. The funny thing is that the AT&T employee that set up my contract put me in as a student at a different college that is near by so I could get the discount (I guess mine wasn't able to get it), he was really cool about the whole thing, I didn't have to show any ID or anything for it. Does anyone know how much the federal government employee discount is (specifically NSA)? I work for the government, well under contract with them, and am also a student, I'm just wondering if I'm getting the better discount of the 2. The guy asked me where I worked but I gave him the contractor's name instead of the agency's name which may have been why I didn't get the government discount.
