I have an iPhone 4 that is over two years old and I must say iOS 6 actually has made it feel snappier. Also, my home button seems to be working better now. I don't know if that has anything to do with software or not but hey. I've noticed keyboard lag has reduced, opening apps is a little quicker, and just general smoothness has improved. Safari is a lot quicker as well.

FYI everything highlighted is the case on every single OS updates...
Report back in a months time...
:D

My iP4 is actually running much, much better than it was on 5.1.1. It feels almost like a new device.

This is going to make the wait until November for the Lumia much easier. :D

Same scenario here. My iphone 4 is really fast compared to the way it was running on iOS6.

Just to clarify, but you meant iOS5 above, correct? :)

----------

When you update to a newer iOS it will make you feel like its going faster but its not... The Operating System cant make a iDevice faster besides the enhancements...

Not quite true. What an OS fix can do is remove elements that were slowing down the hardware experience previously.

Sir, I understand you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, but feel free to expose your ignorance to your heart's content. This is a free forum after all.

EDIT: Sorry--that may have been overly harsh. I see you're new here, so I'll cut you some slack.

For your information ive been with apple sience i was 5.. i have evry iDevice even the new iPhone 5... i kno how to program it and do alot of more features that what you can do with your crappy apple devices....

Regarding the thread, I'm getting used to the new colors. It's sort ofnice. But, the i love the iPod/Music App. The new stores are a bit confusing though.

So glad to see a positive thread amidst all the whining (even though we have picked up a troll).

I'm enjoying iOS 6 so far. No issues, and I want to kiss the person at Apple who made the "updates without password entry" decision.

Runs great on my 4 too, Maps included.

The FUD is unbelievable all over the net.

I can't believe all the people who are "scared" to update. Just frigging do it, its an upgrade in every imaginable way, even on the 4.
