Some YouTube loser posts a video of him drilling a hole into the bottom of an iPhone 7 and plugs a headphone cable into it. The video has been viewed 8 million times. There are actually people who attempted to do this. My God how stupid can people be. This is what I hate about YouTube. All the dumb crap they allow that gets millions of hits.

He is a Professional Troll, its like me buying a new 2017 BMW M5 and taking a Bat to it, to see how sturdy the windows are many people will watch that just for the cringe and hate factor. Ignoring it and there are way better things to do in life pursuits.

Let's just say with the job I have I get to see some of the dumbest people on the planet. Yes some people are absolutely that stupid. And in this day and age people have completely lost their sense of common sense and rely solely on the internet for everything and believe most everything in the internet. Lol. It's sad really.

and you really think those people actually tried it..
Someone came in to Best Buy and bought $5k in iTunes gift cards yesterday. Turns out she was told she owes $11k in taxes but they'll take $5k in iTunes and make it go away. She was asked to the desk (she's a manager) because the sales person felt the lady was acting weird. She did an audit of iTunes sales and one other person bought $5k that morning. Another person earlier in the week.

TL;DR: yes. I can almost guarantee at least one person actually tried this.

Techrax has been posting these videos for years why is he going to stop now? Besides which you can clearly hear the music which means it's,coming from the speaker not the headphone jack.

Isn't this an old IRS scam story?
Nice to see it being recycled as if it's new.

Anyway doesn't say much for the intelligence of iPhone owners!

To clarify, yes people are dumb enough to try that. My point was the particular comments the op quoted were 99/100% troll posts.

The lady you mentioned was scammed and likely threatened with jail and having property taken. Having a person do something out of fear is not the same as what we're talking about.

He got the views and he got paid most likely...This stuff is all to get reactions out of people. He can just go in and get a new phone with apple care. Yes they may give him **** for drilling a hold into but all he has to do is tear that section of the grill out and they will never know he drilled it.

All these videos you see, people scratching up there phones, drop test, drilling etc...its all for views. They get replacement phones by either apple care or with the money they make off of the ads.

the youtuber aint that stupid, people like us watch these videos so whose stupider? he makes money off us watching these videos. those views will pay for the iphone he destroyed .
