There was also the apps that claimed they can add a finger print reader to the touch screen of the phone. This happened a lot after the touchid was announced.
I just wasted 1:24 minutes of my life that I will never get back watching that video.....

There's a difference between learning logical facts and having just plain old common sense.
Who's more moronic? The people who "fully believe" that someone attempted this, with no evidence to support the thought, or the guy who trolled everyone with it?
The guy who drilled his iPhone for the video has MORE than made that money back in YouTube videos, and there's no proof that anybody has drilled his/her iPhone.
So, the only person who wins is the YouTuber who posted the video in the first place. Which... means he's not a moron after all.
Hmm. You speak a lot about evidence. Do you have any proof the guy who posted the video made money from it?

It must be a generation thing. I am approaching middle age and I have to say that videos like this on YouTube just leave me dumbfounded.
Firstly, why would you do this? I know he gets money but surely there are better ways of making a buck. I can't even begin to get my head around this.
Secondly, what sort of moron would waste precious seconds of their life watching pointless drivel like that. They are even worse than the content maker. They are the ones perpetuating this kind of ridiculous behaviour. It isn't funny, it is just completely stupid and childish.
I do think that there are people out there stupid enough to try this and if they have, I hope they electrocute themselves as if you are that stupid, you are a complete waste of skin and should be left to end their own pathetic lives. Darwin award contenders if you ask me.
I might be in the minority but I just don't get it, probably never will.

You just wasted precious seconds of your life commenting about people watching a Youtube video. Yet you think you have the high ground. They're getting entertainment value, you're just being miserable about something some other people are doing.
You don't get it because you lack self-awareness.
