My Graphite Watch thoughts, it’s so good!

I brought the 44mm graphite today and coming from stainless silver since series 1 it’s a nice change, honestly it’s such a nice colour; I never liked the space black stainless steel so always went for silver but this one has the same look as the space grey iphone side and even with a silver link bracelet it looks so much nicer and posh looking, also the bezels don’t stand out as much, here are some pics

I’ve really made the right choice! Within a few days my Graphite SS will be here. It is already delivered where it should be, just not to my house yet.

But I do think a Silver Link is a mismatch with the Graphite SS. It looks a bit off. I’m curious to see what it looks like with a SB Link.

Lucky me, I already have the Black Link Bracelet. Now just I need the Graphite SS Watch to be here.

Pretty sure it will be a nice combo.

I initially couldn't tell the difference between graphite SS and space black SS..

From your photos, it looks like graphite is a more dark dark dark dark grey/black almost like a black version of silver(?) look!

I don’t think photos do it justice, it looks better in person

The previous photos were with more sunlight, here is the look with less sunlight. I agree with OP, photos don’t do it complete justice.

The space black link and silver 316l link band will work either way for this combo. I actually welcome the contrast between mixing-matching.

Seeing the side by side, I actually like the Graphite which surprises me, as I have been a big fan of the SB for several years.

Still love the black but the graphite is a nice change (after owning 5 SBSS) and in my opinion looks classier.
Would definitely get a graphite link bracelet if they ever made one. I have one in SB but not sure I'd put it on the graphite.

Here is a picture of my Graphite compared to my Space Black. I think in person the difference is much more subtle than it looks in the photo:

I was skeptical but I gotta admit now, Graphite has more “pop”. I really like it. And I’ve always preferred the silver in the past.

I picked up my Graphite SS yesterday as well. While the watch is fine, my Milanese band is defective. Need to visit the store again.

In addition it shows up in my Watch App on the Phone as Aluminum 44m Case, rather my prior watches, which show as Stainless Steel.

Can some of you check in the Watch App what shows for your watch? Aluminum or Stainless Steel?
