Now we're in a denial phase. This is a mental breakdown and it's tragic to watch. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seek help.

I am BEGGING you.

Doing anything else is going to result in a disaster in your mind, or frankly, it sounds like far far worse could happen, especially with reference to a firearm.

This is too catastrophically self-destructive to just watch. I implore you - seek urgent psychiatric help. If not for yourself, then for the safety of those around you.

I don't know if I would go that far.

I think it's just some person that thinks its cute and is enjoying the attention.

Even if OP is "hearing" these "sounds" and "seeing" these "things", surely the effects and experiences are being trumped up.

These kinds of people are a hoot.

So, until you actually show us anything, or capture some sound, or whatever, we will all go on thinking your ******* crazy, which you likely enjoy anyways.

Again, How old are you? What do you do? Where do you live?

You seem very resistant to answering most questions... Does not lend to your credibility....

Well, I finished school at the age of 16 and started attending community college. I studied NDT methods, technical physics, several mathematic courses, computer aided drafting and gun safety courses. At that time I was a salesman at a flea market most often selling swords, brass knuckles, nunchucks, airsoft guns, and anything else a geek would blow money on. At the same time I decided to repair airsoft guns and computers in my off time. Afterward I became a roofing salesman travelling to Louisiana, Florida and south Texas chasing large storms. Once El Paso's income dried up and I could no longer pull HALF of the $1500 a week I once was, I headed home to wait until March for winter storms thus freeing up time to make an easy buck helping people with their macs from my home and am currently living off of savings and about $75 a week with all work currently being done at home, in Amarillo... in Texas... so what does this have to do with anything?

As for my address, I'm sure I'm not allowed to post it here, so let me know and I'll pm it.

hey man, just read through the whole thread, took a while!
Listen, i'm with you on this one. I've had strange paranormal things happen in a certain house myself (which occured after doing an impromptu ouija board... bad times) so i do actually believe everything your saying. Dont be put down by all the people that don't. I would love to hear more stories and i would love to see some footage or whatever too. I'll be keeping my eye out on this thread! :D

..., in Amarillo... in Texas... so what does this have to do with anything?

It suggests the possibility that your house has a crawl space under it. Which might have a resident raccoon, opossum, armadillo, etc. Which might be a reason for hearing footsteps, and why the sounds stop when you approach (the critter hears you coming across the floor and freezes).

Just a possibility.

I mention it because my sister once had weird thumping sounds from a corner of her house, that turned out to be squirrels in the attic. The thumping was caused by them running around on warped loose boards spanning the rafters, so they were basically banging two pieces of wood together.

Ah! I don't have a crawlspace, but the attic is a possibility. Nobody has said anything about critter noise, and most of the sounds are of the windows and doors being jerked, but I'll go belly surfing up top later just to be sure.

I've also been following this thread for it's entirety and although I've never experienced anything as prominent as a glowing orb or dark figure hovering around my house, I've had some strange occurrences that I've been unable to explain.

My whole family is very receptive to the idea of ghosts, spirits, the afterlife etc. so I'm always hearing stories like this. I strongly believed in all of it when I was little and always enjoyed partaking in sharing ghost stories around a campfire but as I've grown older and lived on my own, these types of things happening has pretty much come to a halt. This leads me to believe one of two things:

a. I've moved in to nothing but spirit-free houses since moving away from home
b. Everything I experienced as a kid were by-products of the paranoia and excitement built by stories from parents and other role models.

I strongly believe "b" is the more reasonable and logical choice.

As for everybody else, your beliefs are your beliefs. Whatever. But can you all PLEASE quit telling him to "seek help". It's become repetitive and he obviously doesn't believe he needs to. You telling him over and over isn't going to change his mind.

But can you all PLEASE quit telling him to "seek help".

No. I will not stop. This is EITHER an utterly sick troll seeking attention, OR it's a genuine mental breakdown being played out infront of us.

The onus is on us all to do everything we can to help get the guy to see sense, seek help, and get better. Doing anything else is unacceptable in my opinion.

The guy is saying he's hearing voices in his head, and has his gun ready. Doesn't that, just maybe, RING SOME FRICKIN ALARM BELLS?

Do you not see a psychiatrically dangerous (and by dangerous I mean potentially lethally so) situation?

I do. I don't care what goules, ghost, spirits, voices, goblins, orbs, shadows or entities one can experience - the concept of a guy, armed, with an ongoing psychological breakdown is frankly, more terrifying than them all. That he is just laughing it off makes it even worse.

Mr. Cheeto, will you do us all a favour and go see a therapist for a session? If nothing else just to shut djellison up, but just as importantly to see whether he's got a point.

Kthxbai :p

Fine, but in exchange, Rihanna must super glue, NO no.....crazy glue her mouth shut, never to be opened again.

Deal?

I assume those applying humour to the thread are working under the assumption that MrCheeto is pulling our collective chains?

Because finding humour in someone so desperately in need of psychiatric help isn't actually very helpful, and is in extreme bad taste.

You must not know MrCheeto very well.

I can't speak for anyone else, but that's pretty much the conclusion I've come to :)

You can speak for me. He's laughing his head off, especially since there are almost 300 posts in his thread.

If that is the case, then he's possibly the most pathetic troll I have ever seen and deserves to be kicked out of this place for wasting everybody's time. Not only is it in exceptional bad taste, it's also intentionally argumentative.

For MrCheeto - a very simple question.

Is this entirely an intentional work of fiction?

A simple yes/no will suffice.

The posts I've claimed as being first hand? No, not at all. The second-hand claims are much harder to swallow.

Yeah, so I laugh, but that doesn't mean something isn't going on! I mean, I laughed when I lost my toenail and couldn't wear a shoe for three days, I laugh when my hip is out of socket and cannot walk, and I laugh when people want to laugh at me.

Sorry, I'm just not that uptight :p

And if I wanted attention, I'd go back to Turkey Body Bill spamming v

I heard that he did it for the show.

Yes, give me a show and not the hundred thousand other people with similar experiences -.-'

Just because 100,000 people think something happens, doesn't make it in any way real. Hundreds of millions of people read their star-signs. Millions use homeopathy.

That's a logical fallacy : appeal to popularity.

This cannot end well.

I've been watching this thread since it started but I'm with gilkisson here if your walking around spooked out and looking for a ghost/robber with a loaded gun its only a matter of time before an innocent person will get hurt or worse. It only takes 1 person to startle you or make you jump.

MrCheeto, I notice that you deliberately avoided djellison's direct, simple question. Instead, you talked about laughing, ripping off your toenail, and posted a "funny" picture.

Allow me to rephrase his clear and simple question, into perhaps a more familiar vernacular:

"You BSing us with this ghost story?"

In my own opinion, I am valuing MrCheeto's story to be equal to the night soil of a large and well-fed male ox.

MrCheeto, prove me wrong. Post some proof, not more stories. And let me add, that if you do have proof, you could wander over to the JREF forums and get yourself a cool $1,000,000. Nuttier stories than yours have also failed to win the million bucks...

Have you answered any questions about yourself? How old you are? What you do for a living?
