My house is being plagued by at least 2 spirits, to be documented

Where is all the proof? Never seems to be to be any proof and these things allways show themself when no one is looking. Its been said before check appliances and remember buildings heat up and cool off so this is meaning lots of noise. Our air ducts make a racket heating and cooling. no mystery, same with our frige etc.
 
You're ignoring such details as explained earlier. The sounds I heard were not "likely" human voices and they weren't "likely" foot steps. I've heard people talking in the other room, and I've heard foot steps, I know what they sound like in this house and NOTHING else sounds like it. I also know all of the sounds the house makes, and the only sound it ever makes is a pop in the AC vents when air pressure is first applied as it starts up.
 
Update!

Well, it's time to whip out the camera!

Me and Duder are home alone and were sitting on the couch watching the TV. Suddenly I hear this sound from across the house, like somebody pounded their fist on a window. She asks, "did you hear that?" I told her I had and to mute the TV. So we're there listening and then we hear a single tap on the same window. I was honestly convinced somebody was outside our house, so we grab a gun and check it out. Nothing inside, nothing outside.

When I get back in the house, she says "Oh...my...god" and describes to me a "glittery orb". It sounds much like the one I saw, only I never told her about what I saw. Another case of independent discovery.

We sit back down to watch TV and Duder goes to the bathroom, which is near where we heard the sounds on the window. She comes back walking very cautiously and asks, "were you on the couch the whole time?" I say that I have, and she can't believe it. She says somebody walked up to the bathroom door, put something on the ground, and touched the door handle.

I'm keeping the gun around just in the unlikely case these "spooks" are actually thieves or something or another. The sound comes from the opposite side of the house no matter where we go. If we're in the back, it's in the front, if we're in the front...

As well, this sounds lame, but it's apparently afraid of light! If we leave the light on in the hallway and shut the door to our rooms, the sounds STOP and NEVER manifest!

Odd, but now that I know this, I'm leaving the lights OFF when I leave the cameras up.

As well I've got 2 friends that are going to spend the night to experience some of these things, and now I realize...this is fun. No really, this is a game, we have been up this the whole time laughing about our individual occurances and I'm starting to think that these spooks liven the place up...like...the aurora or something.

Another Update: Haha, all of us heard a woman speaking in the hall. I said, "somebody left a TV on". OH NO THEY DI'NT! All four of us heard it too! Haha. I'll keep you posted.

And this is how footage that that's dark, grainy, and unable to prove anything surfaces and is expected to be believed. Look, man, out of all human history not one instance of anything you're talking about has ever withstood scientific and rational scrutiny. Not once. What is it usually? Normal noises/occurrences interpreted by disturbed individuals. Or unlikely, but still explainable occurrences. It could also be people screwing with you. Either get footage of this (no doubt you're polishing up your video editing skills now for a big reveal in this thread) or check yourself into psychiatric care. I say this with no malice, but there is something wrong and you need to have it checked out. This kind of stuff just doesn't happen to your average person.
 
It stops when you turn the light on..

Please think about that..

If someone is messing with your mind they will NOT want to be recognized. Turning on the lights would do this.


Please think about that.


and put that gun away before something really scary happens.
 
Man, certain people are starting to remind me of the PC people that come here just to start a fight.

Sorry, but 4 people hear the same voice at the same time? Gee, I didn't know mind tricks could effect multiple people all the same in some sort of distortion field.

And enough about the gun.
Here's the rules:
If it's attacking you and it's A. A purple Liger, then it's not real and therefore harmless.
If it's attacking you and it's B. A thugster in a ski mask, then it's that Cholo from Cockrell Hill, shoot that fool dead.
And finally, if it's attacking you and it's C. A flock of ninjas, you haven't got a damn chance but to accelerate your death.

But seriously, if a REAL person with REAL physical embodiment is in my house, then that's different than seeing a shrouded figure hover across the floor.

Wow, so keeping the lights off would make them invisible AND allow them to escape the house without a trace? And now we know!

1) Get rid of the firearm. You don't sound competent to own a sharp stick.
2) Get help.
3) Stop the recreational chemicals.
4) Stop trolling.
 
there is a sh*t ton of unexplained incidents that happen in the world. whether this is made up or not (i believe it) it seems weird for ppl to judge. really this is no different than believing in any religion.

This isn't just believing in religion. This is believing that God is actively talking to you, not the prophets of old.
 
Cheeto. I wasn't implying there are real people trying to get in your house. Had that been the case something would have come of it by now.

What I mean to say is I really believe one of your roomies. Or possibly ALL of your roomies are doing this and they don't want to be seen in the light and get caught.

This was my reasoning for the gun comment.

If it is a burglar then that burglar has a lot of guts to come and go in your house as he pleases. And since it's happened a few times he/she is harmless and having a gun at hand can only produce a bad scene.

::sigh:: Why do people use the word "judge" as if it's a bad thing? You do it all the time, you judge things as either good or bad ideas, and act accordingly.


My original suggestions:

1) Get rid of the firearm. You don't sound competent to own a sharp stick.

If I may ask, what do you do for a living? Just curious.

true, but isn't praying believing that god is actively listening to you?? nothing against religion of course but paranormal activity, religion, ufo's all seem to be in the same generic category

Try putting up infrared lighting first. Humans (and most animals) can't see it. If your spirits go away when the infrared is on, then problem solved without buying cameras.

If your spirits continue, then you know that an infrared-sensitive camera will have adequate illumination so you don't end up with dark grainy garbage pictures.

You can find infrared lighting for photographic purposes simply by googling infrared lighting. The units are sometimes called infrared night lights. The lighting is not hard to find, and it's not that expensive.

This thread is verging on legendary.

While we wait for you to capture some real photos... out of curiosity, how old are you? And what kind of job do you have? What do your roommates do?

Where was that childhood home that you said was haunted? (What city/state/country)
 
I keep on coming back to this post merely because I found it quite interesting. I totally understand how a lot of people found this ridiculous and unbelievable. And usually people think that it's just something psychological. Since I grew up with a Chinese cultural background, I myself do believe things such as ghosts/spirits. I mean it really depends on your own cultural and religious beliefs. I'm not here to judge whether it seems true or false, but I'm just here to say that I found this post quite interesting and would like to know how things will develop later on. So MrCheeto please keep us updated! :)

P.S. I do agree that having the gun is dangerous. What if you got freaked out and you accidentally fired it at someone (say, your roommates)?
 
I don't get freaked out.

Now we're in a denial phase. This is a mental breakdown and it's tragic to watch. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seek help.

I am BEGGING you.

Doing anything else is going to result in a disaster in your mind, or frankly, it sounds like far far worse could happen, especially with reference to a firearm.

This is too catastrophically self-destructive to just watch. I implore you - seek urgent psychiatric help. If not for yourself, then for the safety of those around you.
