Mine just departed Anchorage 2:53 pm AK time, so I'm beginning to have doubts about delivery tomorrow. Unless that plane is flying direct to RSW from Alaska, I don't see it happening... And I'm pretty sure it will have to stop in Memphis before coming here. Sighhhhhh...

Same here. Mine left Anchorange I think the exact same time. Where are you delivering? I'm in FL, and it says estimated delivery is still 23rd by 10:30 AM, but I'm getting a little nervous. I did get the email from Apple though stating that regardless of what the carrier tracking info says, that I'll be getting it on 23rd, so I really hope its here :)

Mine just arrived from Fort Worth into ."Jun 23, 2010 1:01 AM
Arrived at FedEx location INDIANAPOLIS, IN" It says it is set to be delivered to my house today by 3PM is that even possible now? Since it just arrived in IN?

Fairly impressive low light video. Did you upload it directly from the iPhone to YouTube or take the .mov file off of the iPhone 4 and upload it from your computer? The iPhone compresses video if you upload a video directly to YouTube from it.

Sync'd, then out of iPhoto and uploaded to youtube.

Beware Upgrade Swap users

I got my iphone 4 today also but can't use it yet since I am doing an upgrade swap. I started another thread about it here.

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/946630/

Long story short...phone needs to activate on included micro-sim on original number which burns that sim. ATT doesn't have anymore micro-sims to use in the iphone4.

Hopefully I'll have more info tomorrow...

Ours must be on the same flight -- that's what I'm seeing too. Weird it went from AK to KY now back across the US to AZ?

Such is the way FedEx works. FedEx has gotten their delivery routes and methods down to a perfect science, even though that means (for example) that a package from rural Northwest Ohio to Toledo, less than an hour away by truck, goes through Memphis. Their hub and spoke system doesn't always make sense to the casual observer, but it works.

How long before these start going missing?

I give it 4 days before dodgy courier men become familiar with the size of the box these ship in.

Please check the version of the baseband Settings>General>About>Modem version.
Please make screenshot.

Talk to me about SMS text alerts! Same old six? Can you personalize them?

Thanks and congrats on being the first!

its only snide because the information was already posted anywhere you wanted to look. I mean really. you can get the specs on the iphone 4 anywhere.. match them up with the specs on your current phone. Honestly..it was only snide because you didnt look up the information yourself.

also.. att knows if there is crappy reception.. they will send a tester to your house and if your signal is crap YOU DONT PAY FOR THE CELL.. so enjoy canada.

Actually, considering the "stolen" iphone 4 was in a case similar to the Incase battery case as a type of camouflage, asking if it will fit in a regular battery case wasn't that much of a stretch. Now if people would get off their little pink elite ponies and actually answer questions without the attitude, maybe things wouldn't have to get so out of hand here.

micro sim is exactly the same as normal sim with less plastic

You can easily cut this away if you have careful hands and something necessarily sharp to do it.

Here is one way

If you only need to go from sim to micro-sim, the manual cutting method is the shortest term answer.

AppleMojo or anyone else that might have your iPhone 4 already, how long does/did it take to sync your account and apps and stuff with iTunes???? Thanks so much! Later

Wow!

FedEx just dropped off my iPhone 4 just a few moments ago...

Activation was snappy and smooth.

Impressively cool!

Do you activate it through iTunes when you first connect it to the computer? I got an email from AT&T suggesting it must be done through the AT&T website. I don't recall having to do that in the past.

Activate your iPhone:

In order to activate your iPhone and utilize the entire suite of features included in your service you MUST follow these steps IN ORDER:

Step 1 - Charge your iPhone.

Step 2 - Download and install iTunes.

Step 3 - Connect your iPhone to your PC or MAC and follow the instructions on iTunes.

Step 4 - Activate your iPhone online at att.com/Activations or by calling 1-866-895-1099 from another phone.

• Be ready to give the wireless number you want to activate, the account holder's SSN and shipping ZIP code.

Step 5 - Turn your new iPhone ON and make a test call.

• If your test call is not successful, see Phone / Device Support.

Cute little screen. Looks like a 3GS in your hands.

Hey, bigger isn't always better. I think Engadget's "you simply won't find a better display on a phone, and that's not just lip service" says a lot.

You have fun with Sprint, though.

True that, Sprint is a joke and the Evo is crap...

Lol.. What are you? New?
