My iPhone 4 Arrived! 2 days early!

This seems like a pretty big deal. I wonder if AT&T is just holding the microsims for launch. Atleast I hope they are haha.
FedEx just dropped off my new iPhone 4 about an hour ago. Coming from iPhone 3G ... well you know...

for the last 3 days Ive been checking flights, tracking the order...checking every website... (I have nothing better to do..we just had a baby so I have a lot of time on my hands outside of burping and changing diapers) - My wife says I will not have anything to do once the phone gets here...I think Ill just stop now.. and wait for the knock on the door..FYI - I too received the email form Apple saying my phone would be delivered Wednesday, a day early. I was checking my FedEx tracking number status all last night into this morning since it was "At destination sort facility" waiting for the update to "on truck for delivery" etc... it never changed. At 9 am I called FedEx to make sure and they said, it would not be delivered until tomorrow Thursday, and the online status has not changed.

Just got 2 of the 3 iphone 4's I ordered. I opened 1 and left one sealed because I'm selling it. I'm psyched to get it activated.
PS: Do I need to get a micro sim? I can't seem to open the little sim door on the side with a small paperclip like the previous iphones. Or do I just plug it in and go?
Also noticed that this phone did not come with the little tool that you can take the sim card out with nor did it come with a micro fiber cloth.

I cant activate it until later. If no one has done it by then I will do it.
Just an FYI for everyone too. I received my phones at 10:15am today. If I track them now, the last scans for 1 phone is in memphis and the other jamaica, queens (NY). I work about 45 mins east of queens in suffolk county, LI. Point is, the Scans are a good 8-12 hours behind where the phone actually is by the time you see it. So even if your most recent scan is in memphis and hasn't updated on fedex.com, it may very well be on the truck right now. The most recent scans in your local sorting facility may or may not show. I know the 1 phone that shows the most recent scan in memphis must have been scanned at least 2-3 times after leaving, but it still shows as of 1:23pm as the most recent scan.
I got mine a little over an hour ago. Man it's beautiful. Hope everyone will get theirs soon.

It was already confirmed somewhere earlier I think that it's a totally different type of version number, 1.59.00, unless they were just making a number up, and also that a different security model, by the dev team, so existing unlocks are, as I expected, useless for the iphone 4, even if it could be jailbroken.

Yeah....I got mine at 9:15 am EST, today the 23rd. This thing is purdy and sure was a cinch to activate! Very very nice! I would not camp for one, but I'm glad they shipped one to my couch a day early.

at least we know calling it the retina display is pretty silly - it's still an LCD
