Well there was one in mine, in the usual place. Just lift up the package with the quick tips and stickers in, and it's positioned there, on the underside, where it always has been.

Phones delivered in the US didn't receive one. I guess Apple assumed everyone in the states had access to a paperclip or a pin.

I jumped ahead to the last page...

I trimmed my card so the gold wouldn't touch the tray anywhere, first speedtest out the shoot was 4.08Mbps. We'll see how this does throughout the day!

I went to the AT&T store today and switched out my micro sims and I haven't dropped a call from touching the corner since. When I give it the ol' death grip it will drop one bar but not all of them (if that even means anything at this point) like my phone did with the previous sim. The new sim has a 3G in the corner unlike my previous one that was just orange. Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it's not, but I haven't dropped a call from my rouge finger yet.

P.S. I don't know if this means anything but they had me in the computer that I was still using a 3GS and not the 4. I doubt that would make a difference but the AT&T employee seemed concerned about making sure.

Registered today just to post my results...

Wife and I both received our phones yesterday. Both exhibited the issue straight away, repeatable every time, and we live in an area with strong 3G coverage.

Last night, decided to try the sim trick. I simply removed it, and replaced it, and immediately could NOT repeat the signal drop issue. I did this with both phones, and they both haven't exhibited the problem since.

Just wanted to throw my experience in the "pile".

Seemed to work for me initially too. Give it an hour or so an repost results in same location you were having trouble in prior to the sim fix.
