It seems they are using UPS now, too. I ordered from Apple.com and mine is shipping UPS.
No dice for me. So all you guys entered was your phone number into the reference field? Has anyone on Verizon gotten it to work?

Under reference. Don't put anything under account. Left hand side of page, click on track by reference: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US

Mine finally went through around that same time, even though I had been trying since 2am CDT. I have a 64GB black on order from Apple.com. Mine says preparing for shipment but this method to determine tracking hasn't worked so far.

Here's exactly what to do for anyone struggling (UPS only!):
Phone number (enter in the 'Shipping Reference' spot): Enter it with no spaces/dashes. Ex: 8176665654
ZIP: Enter your ZIP.
Country: (Presumably) the US.
The phone number is from your APPLE ID THAT YOU USED WHILE PRE-ORDERING THE IPHONE. NOT THE PHONE NUMBER YOU'RE UPGRADING OR THE ONE TIED TO YOUR CARRIER!

no luck for me i ordered under att at about 2:00pm pst! Is there a chance that mine will not be shipped on the 14th?

I ordered mine from AT&T in like the first 15 minutes it was available and I have no idea how to do this. I've tried both ups and fedex and tried my phone number, the phone number of my mom's phone (the phone that's getting the upgrade) the number of my dad (just in case) my house phone number (because it says it on AT&T's site so I figured I'd try it at least) and I tried the order number from AT&T but nothing is working. Any word on that?

I got one tracking number, but I ordered two phones. What gives? Has the second phone not been processed by UPS yet? (According to Apple it is preparing for shipment)
