Hmm, mine's been sitting in Louisville since 9:28 am (local time) today. I'm in Washington State and figure Seattle or Portland would be the next major leg, right? Anyone have any idea is any UPS flights leave from Louisville to there or do they all make a stop in CA first and then head up here?

I ordered two phones on pre launch day around 5am and completed reservation around 10am. For the first phone i ordered the charges are pending on my credit card and just a few minutes ago showed up on ups. But the other phone shows prepared for shipment but no credit card charge. Any idea what's going on?

I ordered from Verizon.
On the Verizon website, I searched order status and got a FedEx tracking number ... but no status (no status, no ship date, no email confirmation of shipping)
Just to check, I tried the various ways of inputting information for reference number on the FedEx site to see if my shipment would come up. The only way it would come up was to put in the purchase order number, which was the "location" number plus the order number (with two 0's in front) separated by an underscore.
So, it was, eg., 0123456_001234567. That is the only type of number that worked for mine. Telephone numbers did not work.
Yea, I know. He said that NO fedex flight ever goes ANC-ONT without going to MEM first.
After we proved that was false he made another snide comment about the deliveries that are going out now.
That UPS flight shows them doing the exact same thing that fedex did.....
For some reason this guy thinks that packages cannot clear customs @ ANC when they clearly can.
And that damned UPS flight is currently diddling itself flying in circles around Ontario, and I'm pretty sure my phone is on it. Land, damn you, land!
Wondering if you guys can help me figure this out. Did apple ship me two phones by accident? I see what looks like two serial numbers. If someone who ordered one phone only could check to see if they have as many reference numbers as I do, it would help alot. Here are the reference numbers my UPS package from apple shows..........

I wonder how they made it to Louisville before landing @ Ontario without anyone noticing?
No, but I've noticed with UPS that they frequently don't have a departure scan when it was a continuing flight, or container that didn't have to be opened/resorted. Unfortunately, now the flight has been landed for quite some time, and no arrival scan.
Im thinking ours are going to be on the UPS 747 leaving ANC in about 80 minutes.

My reference numbers look very similar to that, with the same thing (two numbers that both look like phone serial numbers).

Was just able to finally track my two iPhones in China tonight and noticed they're being shipped "UPS Worldwide Express". When checking the UPS site on what this service is, it guarantees morning service between 10:30 AM till Noon.
Makes me wonder if they'll be delivered that early since typically UPS takes all day to get to my place. Scheduled date of delivery says, "10/14 by the end of the day" but I hope it's not XD

BTW. It says that mine was picked up by FedEx on Oct. 9, 2:49 p.m. Then on the 10th it stayed at FedEx Facility in Memphis. Today it is in transit. Destination: My House!
