My iPhone 4S has shipped!!

Makes me wonder if they'll be delivered that early since typically UPS takes all day to get to my place. Scheduled date of delivery says, "10/14 by the end of the day" but I hope it's not XD

These are our first iPhones and we're rather excited. Want to try out Siri.

I commented on this back on page... 10 or something. Anyway, I figure the "End of Day" is a fail safe for Apple and UPS with so many expected shipments they'll be running behind and ALL of them can't be before noon. HOWEVER, maybe if your route doesn't have a lot of iPhones being dropped off or if you're in an area that didn't have a huge number of preorders, the supply chain already is setup for early AM service and I would guess these packages will still get the same service level treatment, so... maybe! :D
 
Mine is about to be shipped from China!! Did the UPS trick by using order number and taking out last two digits. Scheduled delivery end of day Friday!! :D
 
I guess mine is shipping from US.

Since the apple website still says "Processing Items", it must be here in the US waiting for the appropriate time to ship out. Otherwise I should have a tracking number and activity like many of you are seeing. The only tracked item I can find from my apple order page is the bumper that delivers today. Maybe after it's gone, I can track my phone. I wish I could see some activity on my phone and "know" where it is rather than nervously wondering what's happening. I'm sure I'll get it Friday, if not, Apple gonna get an earful from me!

Im in the same boat with Sprint. Its been saying order processed since sunday afternoon with 2 day delivery. I hope that it ships here tomorrow for delivery on friday. all i get from the site is label has been created which means its not in UPS hands yet...which is odd.
 
Mine is finally shipping. Right now its in Shenzhen, China. Ordered it Friday at 9:30am EST Atlanta, GA. Got 32GB Black ATT. Can't wait for Friday!
 
My 64GB White has finally shipped, must have been some hold up. Order was placed a couple hours before a 16GB that shipped 2 days ago.
 
Finally (feels like an eternity, anyway ;) ), UPS is showing "Origin Scan". Apple still shows "Preparing...". I used the order number trick, and it finally (just in the last hour or two), it showed up.

Scanned at 10:07am, 10/12, Shenzhen, China time.

64GB Black AT&T, ordered from Apple at 1:54am, 10/7

Oh, and: woo-hoo!
 
Just got shipping information from UPS 12:18am AZ time. Shipping info from Shenzhen, China. delivery for 14th confirmed. Ordered from apple.com iphone 4s White 16gb. Be patient people, and be ready for that Iphone 4S(Swag)

something is up with the white iPhones as I ordered 2 iPhones and the black on shipped and the white was ordered a few minutes before but has not shipped yet. The black one shipped says 10/9 but still nothing on the white 32 GB iPhone 4s.

I ordered a 64Gig White AT&T from Apple and it shipped out fine and has been sitting in the UPS hub in the states now for the better part of a day. I think the 32Gig versions of the white have been the only ones a little slow to ship...
 
Still in Alaska

Im thinking mine must be sitting in customs still in Alaska. No update since it arrived in Alaska yesterday at 2:18 pm local time. No departure scan.

Ordered an iPad 2 a day after I preordered my iPhone and that came a different route. Went China to Hong Kong, but then came through Memphis to Pennsylvania, but that was also through FedEx. My iPhone is coming UPS, which is weird because my iPhone 4 came FedEx when I ordered that.

Got a little excited when my iPad 2 got here in a day, then saw my iPhone had shipped yesterday. Thought maybe that'd be the same case, but it seems UPS won't be as fast. Would have been nice to get it early but I guess I'll have to wait. Was a disappointing tease.

It figures it would be the one I ordered, (32 GB White) that is slow about moving to shipment. Maybe we will see something move tomorrow as we get closer to the date of Oct 14, 2011.

It seems that both Fedex and UPS will be delivering the iPhones. At first I thought only Fedex would be doing it but now I see that UPS is also doing it. Mine are or at least 1 of mine out of 2 orders is coming via Fedex.
 
I wonder why my white 64gb hasn't shipped yet? I ordered it through AT&T at 1am on Friday. It's been in processing for a couple days now.

Same. I've seen 3 UPS flights to Kentucky depart since its been there, but no change :(
The next one should've departed 4 minutes ago, but hasn't yet according to FlightAware (http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS85/history/20111012/0832Z/PANC/KSDF). Plus I'd imagine I'd have a departure scan showing if it were already on that plane.
 
Funny thing I just found out that one of my iPhones black 16 GB will ship 10/9 says by Fedex. My white 32 GB iPhone 4s will ship 10/12 by UPS. So I am getting deliveries via Fedex and UPS in same day. That is interesting. I guess the iPhones are coming from different areas. I wished they came both by Fedex as UPS comes in late afternoon and Fedex usually is here before 10:30 am. But I am not complaining as at least I will get it Thursday or Friday for sure. Very cool. :D

I have had orders come through Alaska. Dont worry, it will arrive on time.
 
I just got my shipping notice this morning, but when I went to the link to pre sign, it says it can't find an order associated with that order number. I'll have to pre sign, because I'll be at work when it gets here. Guess I'll try again later then if I still can't I'll call apple and find out what to do.
 
Mine has been sitting in Louisville since 9:28am yesterday! I guess apple is holding them.

Mine too!!! WTF. It's been in Hong Kong since 8:50pm yesterday LOCAL time!!!! Did it miss some scans or fell off the crate. My wife's 4s which shipped at the same time is in Anchorage!!
