YAY! Departure scan at 4:08 PM. I guess I am on the 4:26 plane!
I get more tracking info from Yahoo (http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/advisor/business-tools/ups-tracking/) then from the UPS site. All though I don't see any flights to San Diego, it must be coming through Oakland or Long Beach.

Sweet. geekypastor, Branman1, swimmerjahnavi -- Where are you guys all located?
I'm in Atlanta and my departure scan of 2:08pm out of Kentucky makes a decent match to a flight to Des Moines, Iowa that departed at 2:07pm and landed already. lol! I doubt it'd head that direction so I assume it was just scanned early and will be on one of these Florida flights and get trucked/flown north to GA. Or, could it possibly be trucked directly from Kentucky (only Tennessee between us)?
Hmmm. Either way, it's been a fun ride reading this forum.
EDIT: Interesting. On iship, my 'In Transit to' scan says the city of my local hub in GA, not FL or something else in between.
UPS has a regional dist hub in Atlanta, so it is likely coming in overnight on the truck. Same applies for us in NC, regional hub in Raleigh, about a 9-10 hour drive. My phones left Louisville at 3:08, should be into Raleigh just after midnight, and on another truck heading east, out for delivery before the sun comes up.![]()

I called UPS to ask if I might be able to pick up my "package" at my local distribution center tonight. Without asking for my tracking number or missing a beat he said "no, none of the iPhones will be available until tomorrow."![]()
That is not good for me. My phone is currently in the air from Anchorage to Louisville. It gets to Louisville around 930 pm. I live just east of Raleigh...I hope there is a plane that gets it here in the am tomorrow.

Mine has landed in Windsor Locks (Bradley I'm guessing?). Just a heads up.

I would not sweat it, as long as you preordered on the 7th, and Apple / UPS says delivery tomorrow, you will get your phone tomorrow. They could make a late flight into RDU, packages that I have received next day sometimes come into PGV. Worst case is you get it in the evening, which is my boat since I am at the end of the route. UPS just dropped of my new screen protectors and cases, after 6pm.![]()
