I understand 100% I have said multiple times that in a laboratory setting with timed touches on links the data would be the same (non streaming) but in real life you refresh more, and load more pages. And have a higher revisit rate. That's what you guys aren't understanding. You can not recreate the 3G environment on LTE it just doesn't work in the real world.

I am a fast reader and a faster browser. In the time it used to take one page to load on 3G on LTE I can have already gone on the the next site or link.

...

That's not how you have put it before. If you do more (visit more pages) you will use more data. Duh! But if you do exactly the same things, the data is the same. You are extrapolating that those saying they do use it "the same" are actually using more data. Maybe they are, but you can't assume that simply because they are using LTE. Maybe they just do the same in less time. But anyone with half a brain should realize if they visit double the websites on LTE they are using more data, not the same.

Checking my data usage daily now, on AT&T's website and when it shows up, midday or after midnight. Also, using the my AT&T map. My new month started yesterday, and for the first night, I didn't have any data post at 12-1am???

Every night for the past two weeks since I got the phone, at around 1 am, a ton of data is recorded on the site, but not last night??? Could this maybe be the iCloud system backups?

Gonna have to test this by turning it off and on. I used data during the day to the tune of 43 mb. Now this sounds accurate And it was all posted by 5pm. Since I connect to wifi at 5pm everyday.

Well, my cellular data use seems to be fixed, but every app or podcast is stuck in "processing" if its a podcast or "downloading" if it's and app update. So, at this point downloading anything or updating anything is a no-go. I may have to do a full wipe.

Just curious, but did someone point out that the cellular data issue is the carrier? If so, how?

My podcasts show the same way I think. When I go to check if one has downloaded, it shows waiting, or paused, something like that.

On another note. Was home all day yesterday, on wifi, never left the house and my phone shows small amounts of data over cellular on at&t starting at 10:00am and the last one is at 12:23am.

Anyone else notice any strange data charges???? I'm telling you there's a bug somewhere in iOS.....
