Good luck, I couldn't do it, I did the AT&T Next 12 so I can upgrade in 12 Months to the 7 Plus.

I'm just going to upgrade every year. I don't like having the same phone for a while. So next year I'm going to sell my 6S+ and get a 7+.

I've been on a consistent 3-year upgrade cycle since my first iPhone. I skipped year one and two and entered with the iPhone 3Gs. Skipped two more years and upgraded to the iPhone 5. Skipped two more years and upgraded to the iPhone 6s. This is a good upgrade cycle for me as I'm wowed with every upgrade (so far) and I alternate from being an early adopter of the new designs and buying the s-model upgrades of the previous design. I figure when the iPhone 8 is released I'll be due again.

This is what I said about the 5s, and yet I have a 6s on order.

For me, it isn't that I think the 6s is super amazing. It's that I like being in the S upgrade cycle and don't want the brand new form factor redesign - I like when they've had some time to work out the quirks in the design. If I waited another year I'd have to get the 7, or I'd have to wait two more years for the 7s.

Same with me.
I went from 2G to 3GS to 4S to 6 and now to 6s plus. I'd rather get the s model for all the reasons you stated.

My iPad Retina display is going on 3 years and the battery is just fine. They do have about a 11k miliamp though!
