Thats looks terrible. Did you try calling Apple again?
I haven't opened an iPhone 4 but the genius said "oh I can fix this" and later came back saying he broke the vibrator and was giving a replacement phone. So it may be something they deal with often, and maybe it was a loose screw hitting the glass.
Yes I did, hopefully the lady working my case will sort this today..
For comparison this is next to an iPod most recent gen.. Not at home so I can't compare to another iPhone

It seems like Apple could fix this whole issue with an update that allows users to control the warmness/coolness of the screen.
No, because the LCD's with a yellow tint on it are permanently this way. Its not calibration, its the screen or bonding agent doing this.
Nick, who did you get transferred too when you called them? Who should I ask to get transferred too when I try to get a brand new 4 like you did?
I do not know. I emailed you all the info I did when I got this done.
However, don't hold your breathe. You have to bust some balls to get someone to listen to you. I've been at this for months trying to get one with a decent screen.
I just want a brand new retail box for a replacement. Do I ask to get transferred to someone to get that?
Dude, I've told you MANY times...
You ask for a senior adviser. Tell them you want a brand new advance replacement. They transfer your case, and then the process begins.
Okay but they ask for Applecare otherwise its 29$ . Somehow you got through that, why can't I?
I can't call for you man. You've just gotta have the persistence.
Hey Andrew,
seriously man. You are the yellow screen king. Any thread with any mention of a yellow screen, you are all over it.
Haven't you already had several replacements to date? Maybe this phone cannot be made to your expectations. You've had Apple store employees go thru 30 units (your admission in previous threads). You purchased an electronic device and even with all of these ocd issues, you still want to pursue getting another replacement. If I was Apple and I saw your Apple I.D. and all the times you've gotten replacements, excessive requests for service - I would tell you to go pound sand.
Apple cannot meet your expectations. Maybe you should try something else? HTC, Motorola all make great phones without yellow screens.
Don't take this as an attack. But don't you think at some point, this is excessive?
just want to preface this with, i think you're a cool guy. I have no issues with you personally. But, I think 4 replacements is sliding towards the excessive side. However, if you feel that you need to pursue this more and they (Apple) go for it - then do it.
If it was me, I would have given up a long time ago. Sure I when I compare the screen of my Ipod Touch 4 to the iPhone 4 I do see the slight yellow hue when the brightness is cranked up. Very noticeable when side by side. But otherwise, when out and about people are amazed at the clarity and richness of the pictures I take with my phone. It's never been an issue outside of this forum, a select few and you.
OP, sorry to derail this thread.
Pat- my phones aren't slightly yellow.
They are this much yellow. Heres a picture

4 replacements in over almost 4 years of having iPhone is pretty damn well in my opinion.
Wow thats nasty... thats unacceptable.
Same exact brightness there. Thats currently how yellow my phone is now. Thats why I deserve a nice white one.
That's pretty crappy, I'd be demanding as many phones as it takes, man that's bad. I'll chalk another reason up to me staying put with my almost 2yr old 3GS awaiting the iPhone 5 launch and subsequent reviews. If I was you worst case I'd demand a full refund and buy a cheap off contract phone to hold you over to the iPhone 5. Wow.
