Gosh, you're so manly for being able to pigeonhole a person you've never met because you can carry everything you ever need to take with you in your pockets and clutched firmly in your big, masculine fists.

Thank you!

On a similar note the only jeans that fit me correctly are American Eagle.

Do you carry a white purse too? ;)

This is America.

Tell them that their instruction label was not clear or that it was not visible or that it was missing and that nobody informed you and then sue them for a few million dollars. Hire a lawyer.

Just be careful with the McDonald's coffee. It is hot, but I think the cup says that it is hot. ;)

If you'd washed your new jeans with a white bag you'd be foolish - just wearing them shouldn't cause the dye to rub off noticeably - even if you've just bought them.

I'd complain.

I don't think so. Sometimes dark dyed jeans are just like that. In fact as I recall from the 19freakin90's Guess jeans were some of the worst offenders. A navy blue pair that I'm pretty sure HAD been washed ruined a white shirt I wore with it. IIRC, my Mom just washed the suckers a few more times before handing them off and I learned to wear darker colours with them when they were newer.

Complaining can't hurt but I doubt he'll get anywhere with it. They've been like this for a long time.

I wear most of my new clothes before I wash them. They never look the same after you wash them so I figure I'll wear them while they look their best... IF I buy new clothes.

Ahh... the 1990s...

^ I do that with some clothes, like coats and cardigans, but with clothes that need direct contact with my skin I start overanalyzing what kinds of microscopic particles may be rubbing up against me and it gives me the creeps.

Err, not your grandfather's Guess jeans. If you go on Guess.com you'll see they've become quite chic and stylish. Most of their jeans fall in the $100-140 range.

"LOL" to all of that. :p

They've always been in the same relative price range compared to other brands, and they've never been trendy. If you're going to spend that much money on jeans, and they're NOT trendy, then they better have other benefits for you, like a really, really good fit.

And as me, I'll usually wait for a sale, especially for jeans since they're almost all the same, IMO. I'm only willing to pay a lot for something if I really like it, find it to be unique, and do not believe I'll see them again or have the opportunity to buy it later. If it's something I've seen around, or if I can find something similar and cheaper, then I'd wait.

This is rare, but it happens (e.g. my brown corduroy bell-bottoms with a thick red stripe on each back pocket). :) I paid around $120 for those, but they're not trendy, so I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere.

The most I ever spent on a pair of pants was $65, but stylistically they probably would get a lot more crap than Guess jeans xD

I stopped wearing jeans for the moment (mostly various types of shorts), but for a while I was buying these $20 jeans at 'the hood' type stores, they fit HORRIBLY. I'm never doing that again!!
