To late now, tbh I am calling BS quite a bit of this thread especially the part where you cover was null & void as you were late to pay, I have been late to pay 3 times and once I was late and I was in crash yet I was still covered due to the grace period or something, if your insurance didn't have that then I am surprised.

BTW I am not intending to offend you this is just how I see it.

they may have already been in grace period and missed that deadline which at that point, coverage will be dropped

What a 2 day grace period (from what I read they missed payment by 2 days, now if they didn't then that is another story).

Then maybe my mom was two days out of the grace period. I really don't know. Like i said, i don't talk to her about it cuz she gets depressed.

If you think I'm lying, then get out. I don't need this right now. :mad:

jeez , look if I was you I'd find out what the grace period was exactly, read the document(s) very carefully , I understand your moms upset , try an help her out fella , get busy and see what you can do , maybe there is a clue in the paper work or online.....folks have been trying to help you here remember .

I say this in the nicest possible way >you want to stop winging on a forum and go have a look because sure as anything the insurance company are not going to try and help you claim a couple grand of them are they!! , ...go read some stuff and see what you can find out , maybe there is a way to help your mom , but it won't be found chattin on here , you've had some great advice , take it and see what you can do.

I don't know why people suddenly turn into ****heads when they post on the internet, but I hope you don't treat people in tough situations like this in real life.

I think most people believe you. (Most) People just want details because most people want to help. They feel that if they get the facts straight, they have a better chance of helping you.

I'm not sure if they'd be able to anyway, but aren't men supposed to be more into giving suggestions and fixing problems than women? Stereotypically, anyway. You need to talk to female friends. Always makes me feel better. :p
 
We had our Attorney call up the insurance agency. After about 5 mins on the phone, they surrendered and said they will cover the car. It's good to have a family friend who is an attorney. :D:cool:
