The desk was custom made. I'm using a different (slightly larger) one now however. Enough room for a second Apple Cinema Display down the line ;-)

DONT!!! we've got terrible whether atm. its pathetic. 90kmph winds have been all up and down the coast for the last 4days atleast.
I can tell you don't have kids.. it's almost zen like. Now if you had kids you would see a dozen kid books spread over the top of your desk, 20 blank pages of paper that some how came through the printer blank.... a bunch of mysterious icons on your desk top that no one knows how they got there... and oh yeah, crumb in between the keys from yesturdays PB&J sandwich...

My sad little desk has no drawers... I've been looking for something decent for months, but can't find anything I like with the storage space I need. (or perhaps an armoire). Oh well, IKEA opens here in a month or two, so that may help.

No, I don't have kids. Most 15 year olds don't generally have them ;-)

Awesome setup by the way. I've always longed for a Mac Pro, but never have the cash (or guts) to go out and get one.

I'm actually moved to a slightly larger desk, but the router/Airport Extreme are sitting on top of the Mac Pro. Camera gear sits on the desk (body and lenses), while everything else are in drawers next to the desk.
Speakers are a new addition, they arrived after taking the photo. Altec Lansing FX6021s.
Quick question to the OP
Have you tried taking a picture of the setup without the 30'? You could then put that picture (and do all sorts of photoshop crap) to make it blend in with the wall and use it as your desktop - icons and the dock may look like they're floating on your wall.
If it's a stupid idea, forgive me, I've just got up.

Make the dock as big as possible and turn on the zoon as high as possible and move the mouse over the dock..and take a picture of the monitor? i need to know how big it is based on the dock
