I posted this before, but apparently I have to post it again. If you can't use your glossy screen unless it's dark it's because your brain/eyes isn't functioning as it should. Our brain/eyes are capable of focusing on different layers, if we want to watch at what the computer is displaying instead of our reflection it is just a matter of telling the brain not to focus on the reflection and instead focus on what the screen is actually showing. I do this all the time and I have no problem using my computer with direct sunlight coming from behind me, sure I gotta turn up the brightness for those situations, but then I just put the focus on the plane that shows the screen and I do not even see the reflections.
The human brain is made to be able to focus the eyes on different things, it does that all the time when you look at things, so why not just use something that is "built in" in our bodies?
